I've done that trick with the cab disabled too haha... although I usually put a filter at the end and roll off the extreme highs as my 80's MIJ Strat is extremely bright. Great sound!

Wonderfully atrocious! As much as I love 80’s chorused out clean tone, it does kind of sound awful at the same time. As awesome as it is, i’m glad that tone stayed in the 80’s and early 90’s. Fantastic playing as always!

@willschut49172 жыл бұрын
Yep, this is how we did things back then. Compressing the crap out of the signal, going straight into the board and adding as much stereo chorus and reverb as possible. I did like a kazillion studio-jobs in those days with basically one clean sound, one seize did indeed fitted all.......... Good days though....

Leon do u recommend any EQ settings on board [P.A. System] when gigging live? Most digital boards these days are super flexible when molding tones with many possibilities. I always seem to need some extra nudge at live gig when comparing to formulated presets at home with studio monitors but don’t want to overdo.
@LeonTodd5 жыл бұрын
Depends on the room and the band - having the option to do it at the board is super handy though, whether it's cutting out excess high/low end or boosting some mids.
