I decided to grow my hair out 3 years ago when I realized my hair had gone white, I had been getting various shades of ash blonde and light ash brown streaked through my roots every few months...by this last summer my hair was past my collar bones, except the fringe which was just past my chin. I went in for a cut, a blunt cut just at the top of the collar bones, which meant 3 inches off the back...my fringe/bangs may not be caught up but the first cut in 3 years took 10 years off my face (I'm 60) then I did a temporary color of Royal blue on half, that took even more years off, and with the mask we must wear I can pass for 30-35!!!!

Awkward stages are really hard for me. When I grow my hair long enough, I got thick hair, my head looks like a mushroom! Then I can't even look in the mirror how awful I look, so I go to the barber, cut my hair short and instantly regret what I did, and want my hair back so hard every single time!! I think I could past that awkward situation!

@@heron9580 The sides grow faster than the hair on top. So you should start growing out with long hair on top and short on sides in order to avoid puffy sides. After a while, when your hair on top is long enough, you can start growing out your sides. I'm not an expert, but this is what i did so i hope this helps:-)

I started having amla juice by mixing it with juice from aloe vera two times daily. Regularly cutting the hair also helps. Take care of the lifestyle. Use liiitllextra cocoonnion hair oil, shampoo as both are good for hair fall control. If you will do this everyday, you will results in a few weeks time.

I'm 30 now but when I was a teenager I had longer hair and my senior pictures were great, I took extra care of my hair and have received compliments from a college on how thick and healthy it was. I remember growing my hair for a long time and was careful on washing it. I did get it trimmed after a long time but after it grew out again, it became a lot thicker then my hair was really nice and dark brown. I am growing my hair out again and want to different stuff with it, I'm already 5 weeks in!

I totally agree with your point of using lighter products for longer or in general thicker hair. I never understood why so many people on youtube etc. recommend hair clays and matte pastes especially for thick hair. Even a quiff sometimes naturally has too much weight to it, so a dry clay might achieve the opposite effect by weighing the hair down. A good Styling cream with medium to high hold and natural shine should be fine :D

Hello Robin, This is great! I'll definitely get them and test them myself. Many thanks!! I have 2 more questions though, 1) since I get exposed daily, is it better to wash daily since even though it's not recommended, it might still be better than chlorine leftovers? 2) I'm growing my hair (almost same length as urs at the moment) but As you could imagine, it's a but dry & frizzy no matter using sulfate free shampoo (3 times a week), conditioning & using argan oil daily. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Sorry for the long questions. Thanks!!!

i made a mistake, from March 2020 i been growing my hair, but i thought cutting my sides and back of my neck was a maintenance cut, so now my top is massive and my sides/back neck are short comparatively

This video could not have come at a better time... I am 50 yo and have decided to grow my hair... Lost Job, CV19... perfect time to have a play around. I have always worked in stuffy Law offices in suits blah blah blah... BORING. Now I am free... Hair? Have not had it cut since April however, it is quite salt and pepper and I am finding the grey hair is really quite wiry and doing crazy stuff... It absolutely does not matter what product or how much or how little I use... it's just crazy weird. Any suggestions?

Been growing my hair for 8 months. Can you do a video on the best products to keep long hair shiny, hydrated, and less fuzzy. I feel like my hair gets fuzzy once it dries. I’ve got wavy hair. I prefer when my hair is damp. Any suggestions?

awesome video, thank you. I decided to grow my hair out to try something new and realized I know nothing about that side of hair length so to speak. About 5 months in now and can see the awkward stage creeping up soon! Now i know to embrace it!

Hi Robin, wanted to say I haven’t visited your channel in a few years, and I remember you from when you just started years ago, and I’m glad to see how much you’ve advanced. And just a question, you don’t seem like a very tall man (5’7~ correct me if I’m wrong), and so am I. I was wondering what kind of advice do you have to make us lower end guys look taller? I am in law school and a bit worried about suits. Besides tailoring and slimming them, any other advice?

Hey Netanel, Good to have you back. I'm 5'10 (180cm), so fairly average in height. Don't wear longline and have everything sitting on the waist. Will help to build proportions. Tailoring where possible really will help.
