Once a week, I massaged my scalp with hair oil. I cleansed my hair once or twice a week with liitllleextra cocoonnnion shampoo.

Previously, my hair fall when combing post-application of oil. However, since using this liitlllextra cooconnion hair oil, I see reduced hair on my comb. Now I see lesser hair fall after shampooing. The thing about curly hair is that it changes so much depending how you deal with it... layers can help avoid the bulk in the sides, and avoid it looking to much like a triangle, also brushing it gently and letting it dry stretched can give some length to loose curl patterns (3a-3b)
@crankheart Жыл бұрын
how do i let it dry stretched?
@Dalik1000 Жыл бұрын
@@crankheart I wet it with a stray bottle or after I get out of a shower, brush it back and the hair holds straight or stretched for awhile till it starts to naturally dry which it curls back up again. If you put styling putty first and sea salt second while it's still damp but not soaking wet and style it the way you want it to hold you can get your style to hold for 6+ hours. I'm 10 months in and I have poofy curly hair when dry that is growing sideways.

In my 5th month of growth. I have very curly and thick hair that become very frizzy and out of control easily. When i comb the hair: BAAM! It get's super fluffy and get's to big. Hair just points upwards if i comb it backwards. Look like a mad professor or smth. A good trick i use is that i put light hold styling lotion in my hair after i shower with shampoo. I rub A LOT of it into all the hair so i consume a lot of hair lotion i might add. But it's worth it! I do like a backslick because the weight of the lotion weighs the hair down while also giving it shape and shine. The curls will have no choice but to form into nice presentable curls that way instead of being frizzy and fluffy. Wax however only makes it worse for me and gel makes it feel weird when it hardens. Lotion is light enough but still can tame the fluffy beast. Lighthold lotion is the answer for my curly hair. It actually looks half decent while growing. I use this product: American Crew Style Light Hold Texture Lotion. Will probably keep using the lotion for the continuation of growing the hair out or at least for as long as it works. We can do this guys!!!

Pro tip to my fellow curly hair bros. As soon as you get in the shower, wash your face then immediately rinse your face and rinse your hair in the direction you want it to mostly flow. (Front to back for me, so i rinse my hair from my forehead and crane my head back so the water flows towards the nape of my neck.) After you rinse and while rinsing shake your hair moderately to get the soak out. After this, dont touch your hair. Or get it wet at all. Finish your shower as normal just protect your hair. After showering dont touch your hair. Once its hard to the touch either rock the fro or put on a hat gently and let your curls squeeze out from under it naturally. Girls go crazy especially for any curls around your ears.

I’ve been growing out my hair for a year now and naturally I have an Afro It’s puffy frizzy wavy and curly Throughout this year with all the ironing and blow drying _and hundreds of hair products_ It goes semi down Unless I don’t put a bunch of products in it, iron it, and blow dry it It’s still naturally an Afro :/ So this really helps me not look like a bald eagle nest

Thanks, Thomas. This was an excellent video to watch. It’s helped renew my motivation in growing my hair because I’m in that awkward stage, and my hair is really challenging to manage.

Just get better combs/brushes and comb it for longer or split it into multiple times a day you brush/comb it

My hair is now several feet long, but I worry about cutting it. Will the straightened out parts nearer the scalp curl again?

Anyone has any idea how to tame hair daily? I literally have this guys same hair but mine gets too poofy? I wash my hair twice a week and I want a product that can tame my hair and can be left in

Should I wash my hair daily? And should I use shampoo? Should I wear Bandanas?

Thomas, my hair is pretty straight and I want a messy man bun, so I am growing out my sides but I don't know how to pull off a messy man bun with straight hair, is there something I can use to make my hair curlier/wavier?

i actually dont mind about the awkward stage, but if i grow my hair longer , the longer it gets the hair damaged more, how to deal with it :(
@MyHealthyPlate_recipes4 жыл бұрын
You can straighten your hair if it grows outward

Why not do an undercut on the sides while growing out the crown, the top hair can cover the sides?
@ajaynorris35262 жыл бұрын
Then u gotta cut the top and let the sides catch up when u decide u want a full head of long hair.

Started growing my hair out from a really short top and a balding clipper back and sides (literally no hair) and I’m 1 year in past last week, should I get it trimmed? Looks really bad the moment, slow hair growth I believe
