I really appreciate this breakdown Hector! For me, the front squat has been the toughest skill to get right. I think I am making all 5 mistakes every time, so this has been a breakthrough! Thanks for such an excellent explanation!

Hector, thank you for such informative video, you helped me to figure out how to do front squad right way. Today I've done it for the first time and your explanation was really helpful. P.S. When I wanted to put a like to your vid I was baffled why this amazing channel have so few subscribes. Do not usually comment, but this case is an exception. Definitely plus one subscription, you are doing the right thing. From Russia with Big Love and peace! Из России с миром и Любовью!

Hi Hec, I am practicing my front squat. Not spilling hips is great advice but after I initiate movement with knees forward + my trunk stable, but it looks like there is no go. I feel like need to move my but back and change the angle of my back a bit, is it misstake? Could I move my but back as far as I want or I need to go with my back as vertical as possible?
@thekettlebellcoach2 жыл бұрын
Make whatever adjustments you need. There’s no “one way” to squat. However. If you notice you’re losing your balance and can’t squat straight down. There can be several reasons why: ankles, hips, lack of upper back strength, reflexive stability, etc…
@valeriybaibossynov26902 жыл бұрын
@@thekettlebellcoach Correct my ankles and hips are issues. As if I pause I eventually could go lower, but looks like I am bot mobile at this low position, btw I could go to full goblet squat and I feel comfortable at bottom position.
@thekettlebellcoach2 жыл бұрын
@@valeriybaibossynov2690 , yeah. The goblet squat is easier as you can move the bell forward as a counterbalance.
