I definitely recommend Lot51’s mods. I use almost all of them. For example, if I decided to do my farmer save, then I use his Free range mod and have cows and llamas roaming free all over my lot. And I use his utility stuff like Simzilink and PlumbBros Plumbing. It’s awesome. Totally recommend. Also last two come with actual jobs that your sim can do.

I was literally playing For Rent last night and wishing I didnt have to see the "empty" tenant lots next to me. I was wishing for them to be covered like in city living but the dim lighting mod you showed will definitely do the trick!

I have TwistedMexi’s ‘more rentals’ and just want to note, you still can’t do more than 100 units on one lot but I don’t know why anyone would want to. My 16 unit building is kind of a lot to actually play in. That being said, I found I did need more than 100 units per total save across all worlds…especially with about 4 or 5 of my builds using the cheat for more units than six on a single lot (I commonly went up to 8 on a lot). I was renovating across all the worlds and ran out of units on unit 2 of a five unit setup and decided to risk it. Signed up for the proper teir and downloaded the ‘More Rentals’ mod just to push into those other 3 units. When the game didn’t implode, I did my planned renovation of Brichester as well. I am fairly sure my total units across all worlds is around maybe 125…a bit over, a bit under 🤷🏽‍♀️ But I am so greatful for the mod. Turned out I personally needed it. Also my game behavior is about the same with the mod (even tho I made a backup of my save, just in case!). I am not mad the EA developers didn’t give a higher number per save. It’s way more risky for them to break the game and we saw the performance issues at launch. I don’t even have a super powerful PC, but seem to have experienced less bugs then other people…I did get lag in build mode and glitchy wallpaper, but the last patch seemed to have fixed both. That being said, Mods can always take more risk than the official game. Mex can say ‘try at your own risk’ with a lot of things.

You can get elevators without mods. Just look in the debug items and it works.

Hello! Does anyone know of any mod or trick that allows there to be several domestic units on the same lot without the need for there to be owners and tenants? That is, they can live as if they both owned their own house/room.

@@Aquarius444K i feel the sameee way! if someone was to ask, what are those examples.. i would be stumped. i know them when im playing the game.. which further proves my theory! if they were actually playing it, like how we do, they would know! (i just thought of one now, they need to show the weather in different cities. if i live in brindleton bay, and i plan an outside wedding in willow creek, and then once everything loads, my sims are met with a thunderstorm.. that’s annoying)

I believe the modder said they tried and there is something very specific in the coding that makes those a problem they couldn’t currently overcome.

Huh i wonder if people tried the elevator from city Living? I have the elevator mod for build I'm going to convert. Currently just because i want to. I thought thr other apartments were pitch black and people didn't like thst? Huh , now I'm not sure. The decor call box is great for said build, but i fo like the doorbell. Ahsin IMO thede mods are good optional and I'm not thinking 'why didn't you, gurus!?' but that's just me. Even the Sulani mod while i know others eill think all these mods should be features.

Several of the Sulani lots are very close to the water even tho they aren’t over the water. I have 3 residential rentals in Sulani (without mods) just on the inland lots without any weird glitchyness like sims just walking into water. 😂 That would pull me out, sorry.

@@TheDawnofVanlife Oh, well I can see how deciding excluding Sulani makes sense then if the lots on the water are causing glitches. The community is mad the world was excluded so I don't think it'll be ok if it was half included and definitely not ok if the gurus decides the community will be mad with how the apartments on the water islands but let's include anyway. So I'd say this was the better of the choices.

​​@@AutobotSimmerThe world isn't excluded, just the waterfront lots in the world. Any land lot in Sulani that doesn't actually interact with the water is buildable for residential rentals without mods.
