@Salvatronication I have a German Shep, and when I got her at 8 wks old she was eating Eukanuba Puppy Chow. After she grew some, the vet recommended Purina Pro Plan, Large Breed or Purina One Large Breed. She's a big girl and she looks like a million. She's healthy and happy also. Good luck. I like that you kept your dobies ears natural! i can understand cropping the tail, as most breeders or owners do it when they are 3 days old, but not the ear cropping. I left my minpin all natural. I dont care if people mistake her for a chihuahua, but im not putting her through any of it.

Docking a tail makes it easier for a doberman not to suffer beacuse a dobies tail grows really long and theyll wag it alot so itll break off and that would hurt more

I have a doberman mix without cropped ears and a purebred with cropped ears. I love them both the same. Mind you many people mistake the one without the crop for a rottie, but the uncropped ears does give them more of a softer and friendly appearance. My dogs don't judge each other, so let's not judge them based on the cut (or uncut) of their ears.

your dobie is beautiful even with out cropped ears, don't listen to these assholes! my red dobie boy has his ears croped but thats just how i prefer them. and your so right, people who don't like can go out and buy their own dog.

I have two dobes and they both have a full tail and totally untouched ears. When I look back at photos of my old departed dobes who had had their tails docked I feel quite sad at what was done to them.
