Ive been thinking of revisiting cod after hell nearly a decade, and mw3 does seem in a decent state gameplay wise as you suggest, but as far as the SBMM or EOMM is concerned, ive heard from a lot of people that its extremely competitive all the time, some say its not so bad like you but im not sure where i stand on this, i dont think itd be worth it if every game and victory is by the skin of my teeth and i need to fully focus rather than play a few games each day and relax. Is every game you enter really so competitive or is there both?

I stopped playing MW3 2 months back mainly because of the inconsistent SBMM like I don’t play like streamers do like I only play around 3-5 hours a day and I get put into a server with players that are like rank 400 and they have like hundreds of hours of screen time and I lose to them all the time, but yes it is a decent game and I think I’ll get back into it soon.

Its a decent game but its not a top 5 COD. I think they should of released the OG MW2 maps throughout the seasons and started with 10 fresh maps like meat. I think they shouldn’t have brought over the old guns as well. In hindsight this would have been a better move. I also forgot about the cheating, but that’s for another time and place.

yeah i agree with all of this it isn't a bad game by any means but definitely could have won people over more at launch by doing things differently and the old guns was definitely a waste of time and effort having them in mw3. The cheating is really the big negative on the game at the moment because of how rampant it is unfortunately.

Cheating?in pubs?lmao give me a break...been playing for the past 4 years and only encountered like 2 of them in regular pubs,the cheaters are in ranked or wz bruh

It’s a top 5 multiplayer of all time but zombies is trash and campaign isn’t super good only like 3 good missions

Could be but SBMM is so ridiculous you can’t tell. I stopped playing after 2 games. I went 7&60 in both game. Never played again.

I never played MW or MW2 so going straight to MW3 after not playing since black ops 4 this games multiplayer is amazing. I think all y’all just burned out on it since you been playing this modern warefare series since 2019.

I would say so or maybe wait until it is $30 as i could see it being this price very soon. The only big issues are cheaters and a lot of them at the moment. However if you want to get it now then it isn't a bad time too as season 3 i almost here and would be a very good time to get into the game in my opinion!
