There's this weird moment in Mario kart 8 deluxe. I don't think it's in the game anymore. It's not disturbing, it's just inappropriate. So, if you played as Inkling Girl, she does the "up-yours" motion sometimes when she passed someone. It's weird.

Shiny Ho-Oh Meowstic As it is for most PM fans, myself included (if that wasn't obvious enough). It nailed gameplay, battle mechanics, and storytelling perfectly and only needed to utilize its paper aesthetic when it was context-appropriate or for split-second gags. Nowadays, PM plots even insult a child's intelligence and the paper jokes and dialogue get so annoying at times that I want to set the entire Mushroom Kingdom on fire because everything is made of paper now. Hilarious!!!

I looked up "Hell Valley", and apparently it's the name of a large crater in Japan, with hot springs, volcanic steam plumes, and hiking paths. Wonder if there's a connection between that and the shadow figures. Some people have also noticed that they look similar to the Kodama, a spirit in Japanese folklore that inhabits trees, similar to the Greek dryads. This could be where the "sky tree" part of the name came from. Maybe there's some connection between the crater and the Kodama, like a story in Japanese folklore, that Nintendo decided to reference? Who knows.

I have one! In Super Mario Odyssey, when Mario looses a life or coins in quicksand, his death animation shows Mario trying to get back to the surface, stretching his arm out in effort then just... letting go. His expression becomes blank-ish and you can see the lack of life in his eyes. I could not sleep easily that night.

Mimi's transformation still makes me shiver. I remember when I was 5 and saw that. Didn't play for 3 years. Picked up the game again at 8. Still terrifying. Now, I'm at the final boss of the game at age 12. Super paper Mario is like a military father. He scares you, leaves, then comes back a little longer and less scary. Then his shift is over and even after he dies, you still remember him fondly.

I don’t know why so many people are treating Mario stomping Luigi’s foot like Mario just stabbed Luigi in the back! It’s just a sibling thing, some siblings do other things to their other siblings like headlocks, rubbing their first in head etc all the time, and some have their own versions. Example: when my brother got a girlfriend I faked him out by pretending I was going to scratch his face but psych I don’t, same with my sister, this is the kind of stuff siblings do to each other.
