Can build sound dampening fences around your house and can hang strands of wooden bead curtains in the house to help reduce noise that gets in. There are many other sound proofing strategies to lower the noise that gets in from the environment to inside your dwelling. Also, there is a thing called "white noise" which many people use to sleep through an otherwise loud environment, examples are fans and air conditioners but also the static sound of an old television set picking up no frequency and displaying a pixilated screen with no broadcast as well as the sound of ocean waves, rain and windstorms. This doesn't just apply to the Philippines and can be used in almost any loud environment that disrupts your sleep.

I even want to change my citizenship just to live in Scotland, especially in Edinburgh. Lol. I love my country and being a Filipino is something I am proud of, despite having its own flaws.

Rooster is our alarm clock especially when you're in the province area😅.This chicken is so annoying like your alarm, but unlike your alarm clock you cannot turn it off😂.They start to wake you up at 2am and then 3am and after that they not gonna stop until 6am.Thats the reason why filipinos wake up so early in the province unlike in the city area.

The people cutting in line happen most of the time when there is only one lane. Usually there are two lanes and the other one is called "Priority Lane." This lane is for Seniors, People with Disability, Pregnant women, Parents with children. Sometimes, people in military, doctors, and people with government position use it too because they are aways in a rush. If there is only one lane, these people will cut the line and they will be served. Yes some people abuse it, but Filipinos don't like confrontation and public rage that is why they let it be. Another thing about the noise, they don't mind noises in the neighborhood because it let them know that neighbors are still alive. Hahaha! Sounds weird but Filipinos panic whenever the place is too quiet. When a place is too quiet, they think that the place is creepy, the place have ghosts, and the place have evil spirits. Hahaha! The noise are sign of positive energy. That the people are alive and happy. Some Filipinos prefer a quiet place too, and most of the time you can get that quiet neighborhood in the "Gated community," and high-class condominiums.

Im a Filipino . what I really dont like here in the Philippines is their poor service in securing your Birth Certificate , Marriage certificate etc , You have to que in a long lines wating for your turn to be serve , lack of employees , cost budgetting , The Manager of PSA , NBI ( securing NBI Certificates ) up to now they didn't find the Solution to resolve that problem , it was annoying and time being wasted waiting for your turn that took 3 hours ( or more than ) to get your docs for NBI Certificate and Birth Certificate etc. , to think that it was not FREE , We did pay for it , A Good Leader for some Government agencies MUST be give an action to resolve these matters !

Dude, if you're a Westerner, you have a build of a bear. Filipinos are small so in elevators, or any place with enclosures they'll just hop in and hop off whenever they want to. You westerners, have slowly learned politeness a different way through the years then it became a culture. We Filipinos or Asians in general consider westerners rude. So I don't know who made the survey about politeness and what is the standard of being polite. And about birthdays, here in Germany, the Birthday celebrant is the one responsible for the celebration itself. So please, avoid generalizing Filipino and Western culture. And just to clarify a bit, Filipino birthdays and any kind of celebration is a sharing culture. This means, even if one doesn't have any gift to bring, one will make sure that they prepare cooking, bringing utensils, organizing the party-this is called Bayanihan. If you want to celebrate with us, take responsibility with us. With all other comments, I fully agree with you. 😂

THESE u mean it is important? Some townpeople are happy having chicks as a privileged sign of country life. And if you retired, what matters a rooster in the morning? U turn your sleepingside from bad ear, and quite is. If you younger, you turn in the weekend your 250watt power boom box on, and no more crying.
