If you are looking for peace and quiet, Himarë and Dhërmi located between Vlora and Sarandë . They are beautiful long beaches with crystal clear turquoise waters . Also about 15 minutes north of Sarandë, Bunec and Lukova are beautiful as well . I was in August of 2021 and yes Ksamil is extremely crowded and the beaches near by such as Pasqyra , Manastirit and Pulëbardha located between Sarandë and Ksamil.

The best beach of sand in Albania are located in Vlora and Durres,with all destraction in those last 30 years they remain still the best sand beaches in Albania.south Albania is amazing and clear water ,in north is a beach near Lezha with sand

I like Kroreza beach. There are usually tours there and it has groups of people that come to the main beach, but you can definitely find your own space. Himarë, Jale Beach & Buneci Beach. You might need a car or tour for those tho.

Go strait to Saranda. You have there hundreds of cheap tours to take you to to hundreds of beaches, some of them unbeliavable. Dont forget to visit Butrint, the little Troy. The most stunning ancient city in the Mediterranean, that Greeks are so jelous about...

The beaches in Ksamil are super crowded. If you're looking for a great unspoiled beach, you'll need to take a short drive.

True. I do think Ksamil is a must when in the region if it’s your first time.

Good video. What isn’t mentioned is the awful traffic and lack of parking both in Ksamil & Sarande. One would be misguided to think that it is cheap in Sarande. Perhaps maybe other parts of Albania having been to Shkodra, Tirana and now down south. Sarande is extremely crowded in the summer holidays. There’s traffic everywhere. €10-€15 to park in Sarande! €30 for sun bed. This is coming from someone who has visited over 30 in Europe alone. Things will have to improve.

South Albania is not as cheep! Of course the beach is more beautiful from Vlora to Saranda but is 20 % or 40% more expensive than Durres, Kavaje, Shengjin.

I think Tirana is probably the hardest place to drive given it’s a big city, but you should be fine. Especially if you’re driving through the country side.

I was in Sarande and Ksamil and its was TERRIBLE!!! Junk food, stone beaches and etc. We were 4 person and we aint find any good restaurants. Don't make this mistake that we made.
