Been with you from nurse to PA! As an ED phleb, the most common cheif complaints in my ER are overdoses, abdominal pain/emesis, and DKA

my home ER saw sooooo many strokes but we were also a comprehensive stroke center as well as trauma center and heart center. strokes, stemis, and gsws were hugeeee. also abd pain and chest pain work ups are the biggest work ups in the ER because abd pain could be heart related or chest pain could be gi related and so many things involving the abdomen and chest. low key saw the highest heart rate in a living person recently with a HR of 289 come into the ER who survived.

I have to go to the ER for a trauma induced swelling in my left breast they have called mastitis. when I went to the clinic the doctor told me to go to the emergency room because the level of swelling infection. I have no health insurance due to covid permanently closing my job also taking my health insurance., so I can't afford to stay in the hospital for long periods of time I need to hurry up and find another job so I can get back to having the ability to pay my bills. So my question is when you are admitted, which she said more than likely they will do. When they keep me overnight will that be to drain the infection, and administer IV antibiotics? And given I have no insurance right now, will they keep me a longer or shorter time frame?
