First is to stop flaring your elbows on shoulder press. This causes way too much unnecessary pressure on your shoulder joint seeing as how your shoulder socket is slightly forward. Once you start putting your elbows at an angle forward, you’ll notice that the shoulder pain is relieved and you will start hitting your delts more effectively. Second is to stop resting at the top of a shoulder press. Often times when people are doing shoulder press, they press the weight all the way back up and lock out their elbows and cheat a half second rest without even realizing it. While you do want to nearly straighten your elbows, you want to focus on the peak contraction of your deltoid rather than locking your elbows out and then as soon as you get that peak contraction, go right back into your next rep. Third is to stop shrugging while doing lateral raises. Too often, people go too heavy on lateral raises which causes them to start creating momentum and engaging their traps at the top of the exercise. In order to fix this, first you must drop weight.. and then you really want to focus on extending your arms in an outward motion rather than raising up and then also stopping at parallel with your shoulders. Fourth is to stop resting at the bottom while doing lateral raises. Another issue I see all the time is people brining the weight down too far during delt raises.. in which case, they lose the tension on the muscle and the allow themselves to create momentum at the bottom and start sacrificing time under tension. Instead, start with your arms out at an angle, where you feel the tension on the muscle, and make THAT your starting position rather than bringing the weight all the way down to your side. Fifth is to stop rolling your shoulders back during rear delt flyes. Rear delts are commonly underdeveloped due to the amount of trap/rhomboid engagement that people get during their rear delt exercises from not doing the exercise right. What you want to do is protract your scapula AKA roll your shoulders forward (and keep them rolled forward the entire time) and focus on pressing the weight outwards rather than back and last but not least, stop just before parallel with your body because THAT is where you should feel the peak contraction.

I dont mean to be negative. Although, alot of people tend to listen to people who’s physique shows what that are preeching. But in this instance this man does understand muscle activation. Once you know how to activate each muscle individually only then will you notice progress. I agree with his comment. Nice work man.

Number 1 mistake on seated overhead press should be arching the back, essentially turning it into an incline bench press. Get the bench as close to vertical as possible, keep your butt wedged into that corner, and focus on keeping all parts of the back in contact with the bench at all times. This will save your back, reveal mobility issues in your shoulders, and force you to lighten the weight.
@ertugrulbae462 жыл бұрын
Put it completely vertical to remove chest completely out of thr equation. Any form of decline from that point will incorporate the chest. An "inclined bench press" is still a chest workout with a lot of shoulder incorporated. Flat bench is mostly chest with still a decent amount of shoulder. Decline bench cuts out shoulders even more but tricep activation increases I believe (which is still a muscle group used before). When you stand, there's no slight decline. I don't know why people always have it slightly declined on the seated version then

After recovering from a shoulder inbalance and working with chiropracters, physiotherapists and a kinesiologist I ended up hurting the same shoulder from a fall. This threw my shoulder into a worse position than before. After months of residual pain and discomfort, the simple instructions in this video (after one session of doing these exercises) helped my entire shoulder move back into place. After seeing a chiropractor and a sports medicine doctor for this injury (to not much end) I am now on the road to creating the proper balance. I don't know why some people behave so badly when it comes to sharing their ideas, especially something they believe is right. Some people's comments are sharp like a knife when they point out this is wrong, not like that blah blah.... If u want to criticize, why not try to give a constructive criticism along with some polite words. Why do u have to curse him? What did he do to u or just because he is doing opposed to your mind? U act like u and him used to fight in a ring or something and u try to watch every move of him and spit your shitty words so that u think u are better than him. Vince does have flaws, what he is doing doesn't mean these exercises are done wrongly by people out there, and only his teaching is right. The point is he just wants u to have a good move and effective, of course, you have your own way of doing or your belief and knowledge tell you that what the guy's telling is not right at all. For me, I am not sure this vid should be trusted or not unless I give it a try and see how it goes. If it is not good as he told then move on for more research. I have no connection with this guy whatsoever, but I followed his tips, they worked just fine for me, however, some did not feel right either for me. Hey, wait! I only take good things from him, and throw some bad things away! That's it! I have worked out for so long, done 1 exercise in many ways as I am told when I go to the gym. Different people tell me different things for just one exercise. Damn! when I watched a few of his vids then I saw an effective progress.

Exactly Right! Dunno But I was Gonna post a similar type of Comment, But then I saw Yours. Claps You already did it. But You Know What, these People are like.. When You show em a Glass of Water half Filled, They will undoubtedly say "It's half filled man. What!! Can't they see it's half filled and least it's better than Nothing. Conclusion: Human Nature is "Ungrateful". So far as my Personal opinion goes, I practically found these tips very Useful. and even if they weren't useful I might never come back and ignore this guy that's it. No offense!!
@DaRazee7 жыл бұрын
Thank man! :) People will never be satisfied, they have something; they need more. They see something, they say more sometimes in an inappropriate way while making the other people feel uncomfortable. Even in the gym, when u do your exercise, some guys might randomly come to u and say, "hey, this is not like this, u should this and do that....blah blah". For me I take all those advice and take a chance to perform that if it's good then take it but if not, it should be my way.
@rushbcykablyat17926 жыл бұрын
Judgmental people are prideful individuals but with a very deep sense of inferiority, whether they consciously realize it or not. Which is why ideas and beliefs different from theirs will always be seen as a threat to their very own being and existence, as if their very survival depends upon everyone else accepting their beliefs and ideas about everything in life. And whenever the survival instincts are activated, these people will then feel justified in attacking anyone who's ideas are different and opposing theirs. So the real source of all feelings of justification/righteousness for one's own negativity towards others, comes from the animal survival instincts that most people have not yet transcended. That's the basic psychology behind all criticisms and judgments made by people who are combative and aggressive when it comes to imposing their own subjective beliefs and concepts of right/wrong. It also explains the dynamics of superiority/inferiority that people like to play here on earth, and all the ideological and religious warfare mankind has waged upon one another, each believing themselves to be "Right".

Shrug up with only the shoulders movement in up and back diagonal direction. Ensure full range of motion. Reach the top, squeeze the traps for 2 secs, release to bottom and stretch. Try this exactly next time.

BIlly yang , just quickly are you calling the comments idiotic or the video, only reason why I say that is because in my opinion which I’m not saying is 100% right but I don’t believe any of these comments are wrong would you say someone who has learnt any trade with 20 years Knows more the someone who has none but degree from uni...for sure you have to look at the scientific point, but with what someone’s said ealier something they may work for you doesn’t men will work for anyone else, people have different range of motion which in many 9/10 pt course will teach you only to bench to 90 degrees so less pressure on you joint but any person who trains properly will tell you unkess you full range you win the use all fibres to the max to get best results so I do agree the bio mechanics side of things yea mega important but experience in some case is just... like this and lots of others talking about on lateral no swinging in the back to aid causes is cheating but go any of jay cutlers shoulder workout on lateral he swings massively , not saying that’s right or wrong but you have this guy saying train this ways and 4 time mr Olympia showing you another, so just saying what works for some may not work for others and experience is just as important then the bio mechanical science side, so be open minded
@bigfun73727 жыл бұрын
but you are hating...dude it's just advice like anything else it will help some people and not work for others, what the big deal? What's the point of taking the time to watch a video and comment on it if you have nothing to positive to add? Besides any exercise YOU do in YOUR routine you learned from SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE. Yes you have freedom of speech and it's a free country, blah, blah, blah but then why don't you take that same freedom of speech and put out your own video instead of being a hater...

Lobsang Gengla You eat fewer calories than the normal amount of your weight and try to get as much protein with the calories you have. This is just an easy explanation btw.

Cardio and weight lifting. But lift first then run it jump

Lobsang Gengla if you want to build muscle mass, you have to lift heavy. And I mean whatever is heavy for you. Lifting light for reps will help you tone but it won't make you bigger.
