Insomnia was severe the first few days of taking it. I was sleeping at 5:30am! Everyone I think on these meds who DONT abuse them AND have adhd / add for REAL, this seems to be an issue. I got diagnosed about 3 years or 4 years ago now, and I started on vyvanse didn’t like it thought I needed adderall and suffered the whole time on it, I got a lot done, but the short 2 and a half years I took it, it for sure had its effects, mainly broken back teeth from clenching without knowing even. Extreme tongue movements, jitters, anger to the tenth degree, cocky confidence, stomach pains, really everything possible, so I finally stopped, I was on xr 30 at the time, and I took a 6-8 month break before I realized I lost the benefits, and living with a girlfriend at the time, she noticed things that she’d never seen and ask me WHY I can’t sit still, WHY this or that, and it turned out I needed something again! So I went on vyvanse 30 mg, then 40 mg, and it works fine for me due to my size I feel like height and weight wise, and it’s not too much, and I can go days without it and not even think about it, I actually look forward to my breaks one to three days off per week due to my work schedule, so sometimes I only get a day off and it’s alright, but I certainly feel it working better at the right dose, but the RIGHT DIET is what helped me get what I need. I don’t drink coffee til an hour after I take it and I usually take it with an ensure or protein shake of some sort, as the medicine works with protein anyway, so you’d be quite suprised the effects protein like a simple 16g ensure high protein shake could do for you when your on this stuff, because it makes it work WAY better, and not saying it makes it unbearable or so much stronger, but I’d call it more effective, more linear, more of an even flow, just overall much better if you change your diet. And vitamin c will practically render it useless, so avoid it til later if you can. That and coffee will make you feel like you took 10 mg instead of 40 mg when it comes to vyvanse. Good luck!

@@doctorsecrets I do. I never get confused with my hands when I'm typing

I like that this doc took the time to explain the material, however, he is unnecessarily showing off “oh look I can write with both hands” it wouldn’t bother only it’s totally inefficient, he is so so slow when writing. Furthermore, he dragged out the video, extremely slow. I have seen videos that would deliver all that info in 90 seconds.

Does anyone find that vyvanse gives them tremors? I have been on it for about 6 months. The past three months I have been taking it everyday and have noticed in the last few weeks that I have a constant shaking inside and out.

Yes you can have coffee while on Vyvanse but it may contribute to insomnia and feeling jittery.

Maybe you are eating all your calories before bed when the meds have worn off. Try to do like he suggested and have a protein shake or force feed yourself something healthy and nutrient dense at meal times so your body doesn't try to make up all those missed calories/nutrients at bedtime, when it will end up wasted and cause weight gain and lead to other problems down the road. Stick to healthy food choices. 💚

@Lililililili3333 жыл бұрын
This is my second day taking it for binge eating disorder and I’ve felt light palpitations, nothing too bad, but yesterday afternoon I had a headache and nausea , I’m doing better today. Took it at 8am yesterday and 11:15 today to have the headache while sleeping hopefully 🤞🏻🤞🏻

There's no one right answer, but we commonly use low dose concerta, biphentin or vyvanse.
