and poison resistance potions is a must too, also to fully explore a sunken crypt without getting lost you should keep right all the time and you should go full circle and get to the entrance

Keep right or left, but for sure keep to the same side the whole time. I'm surprised poison resistance wasn't top 3.

0:41 troll hide armor is most likely better, since you’re going to probably be running away and shooting arrows to not get hit if it’s your first dungeon. Plus the stealth increase helps you to either sneak through enemies or you can sneak attack them

I'd put Stagbreaker on that list, as well as the Dverger Circlet. If you have Stagbreaker you can get away with lesser armor as mobs who are behind mud piles can be dealt with with no to little fear of what's behind them. Just get that muck to the point where it's thin enough, smack the floor a few times and you should be good to go. Circlet helps because, well, it helps to be able to see things clearly.

Personally the antler pickaxe does just fine in the muddy scrap. It's easier and more lucrative than mining copper honestly. Another tip for crypt quests are have your escape route lined up once you leave. You're going to have full pockets and DO NOT want to die leaving the area. Whether its a portal for regular trips or carrying the stuff to make a karve and get out fast know what you want to do and have a path in mind beforehand. never know when a wraith or abomination will suddenly be between you and your path out of the swamp.

My top 5: Combat skill - kind of goes without saying, but learn to parry. Always have the best shield you can. If you can solo a troll with a bronze buckler, you might live through a draugr spawn circle. Next is poison resistance meade. If you're new to swamps, know that everything poisons you. A red blob is bad news if your health is getting low. Hint: they turn into 2 green ones when they die. Third is like he said, good food. High health is going to help you block longer before you stagger. Pickaxe upgrade for sure. Belt for sure.

I don't know why people use the iron pickaxe when I can drop a workbench outside the crypt and repair my antler pick as much as I want. I usually leave it beside my boat so I can drop off iron repair my pick and go right back into mine.

You should use a stagbreaker to kill blobs through the walls... after your part way through a scrap pile blocking a door you can clear them out safely.

Works about 80% of the time. I've had some draugrs keep out of range. Sometimes you enter a room to discover there is one draugr in a corner that didn't even activate. With all said, blunt damage is the way to go in the swamp since blobs, oozes and skeletons are weak against it, draugrs and leeches have no weakness, while the wraith is resistant to all 3 physical damage sources.

Why I cant find trader? I searched i think 3/4 of very big Black Forest in size of whole my starting island and didnt find him.

Most of the time he is near the Elder boss area
