Request a Dasher need to be a feature. If you trust someone and like them and want them to deliver then you should be able to request them and Dashers could make more money. I’m from the Philadelphia suburbs and platinum tier.

You can call and have certain addresses and names at that address blocked. I have done it three times now. I left a bogus lie about his grocery delivery and the other two people always order heavy cases of water and never tip...

I’ve blocked close to 30 people in the past couple months lol. Moved to a new area, and figured out who the chronic no tippers were. I’ll gladly take less orders to not be disrespected

The large shop and deliver orders are the ones that pay the most. You'd be a fool to not shop for 40 items for 40 bucks. You're gonna complete the delivery within an hour. That's 40 bucks an hour and could be 10 to 20 dollars per mile too! Large shop and deliver orders is the way to make the most money and also the most economical way as well. Win win win 🤑

The problem I have found with shopping a large order in the grocery is lack of item availability and the need to communicate with the customer which slows things down terrifically and takes away from the dollar per minute ratio.

Ubereats has the courier delivery already but I won't do it. Several months back a lady was killed was trying to pick up a package I don't know if you heard about it she went to go pick up a package and the man thought she was trying to rob him because he got a phone call saying something I forgot Google it

Has anyone noticed dd lowering base pay if the tip is high? I got a 10 mile for $18, after completed it showed tip was $16 so for 10 miles dd only paid me $2...makes you think....they want the customer not them to pay drivers.

They've been doing that for years, despite being sued over it, losing the case and being ordered by the court to stop since it counted as stealing tips.

I'd like to see the "no tip" button get deleted for customers and a minimal $5 tip be put in place. Tired of getting no tip orders. It just says the customer doesn't appreciate your time and 90% of the time you get no tip stack orders those are the people that leave bad reviews because their food took to long and it's cold due to sitting. People who don't tip shouldn't be able to leave drivers reviews..

They need to get rid of zoning. There’s no point when every other order wants to take you out the zone. Then you have to switch zones which will then give you more orders further taking you out the way or waist valuable time drying back in your zone. And the zones geographically don’t make sense for the actual area you’re in.

EBT, I'm getting $2 extra pay/order for delivering orders outside of my zone. Sometimes is great as I live and work right on edge of zones. My drive to the nearest restaurant is 4+ Mike's away, love doing EBT Mon-Fri on way to work as I have to drive these miles more often than not and don't have to leave the house until 9 minutes after accepting order...2 declines and kicked off of EBT is rough, really wish you could toggle back and forth between EBT and offer. At least if delivery is taking you to another zone it shouldn't be counted as a decline.

Honestly, sadly, I have to do by time due to where I live. I’m in Great Falls Montana not a very busy market usually takes 5 to 10 minutes for me to even get a four dollar order and I have yet to find an order that was below 8 miles drive granted I am new to this but still, I don’t have the luxury yet to just refuse orders

The truth is there are a lot of people doing this because they don't qualify for other jobs and have no sense of customer service or food safety, much less maintaining food temperature. Using bags is beneath them. Which is something I hear from drivers every week.

Doordash needs to be more mindful of which merchants they add. Like for example: Mattress firm! Do we know if you need a specific vehicle to get those deliveries? Because I can tell you what, I will not be delivering anyone a mattress on Doordash. And I believe others would hit that reject as fast as I would.

Tri-Cities Washington state and we have Dasher Preference options here. Peak pay is few and far between and I’ve yet to see a challenges or other bonus pay in the 2 months I’ve been dashing.

I would love a video on if the benefits of Dasher Rewards and Uber Pro are worth it in 2024, especially since the recent updates. For DoorDash, it feels like Platinum has all the best benefits yet those benefits don't feel amazing. As my AR slowly decreases to 80% (my market's silver vs. gold/platinum cutoff) I constantly wonder if it's even worth worrying about anymore.

Earn by time blows. In my area it’s 14.50. That’s terrible. On top of that it e=rewards non tipping customers. DD customers are ghetto. My GH customers tip way better.

I would like to second the initial part of slammed series comment. Customers should not be allowed to put in an order that doesn't have a decent tip. What is happening in my order area is that we now have a plethora of dashers and out of desperation these people take anything and the customers have figured it out. Dashing is no longer as lucrative in my area because of this problem

I don’t think I’ve ever been able to dash now and EBT wasn’t an option. Be it busy or scheduled. I never do it anyway. They will send me 12 miles away first trip. That’s always my first offer. 12 miles $4.

If they were smart they would do the 500 for 50 guaranteed making dasher more inclined to take a bad order knowing that once they hit 50 orders the dasher will get 500 making it 10 per order get rid of promo pay which is non existent in my market these days and do that instead of

I do door dash I opted out of red card orders because it is a unacceptable risk to my rating and the time limits on them are impossible and they 90% or the time they are trying to sell stuff that isn't in stock angering customers. The way they run red card orders is totally incompetent for example they will combine 3 customer orders as 1 at grocery stores that don't ever have plastic bags and every order is supposed to be separated at the same time and I got this order with my account set to scooter/ motorcycle
