Gotta agree w Kelly anyone who actually played the other games know those are references to previous sages. And anyone who isnt interested enough to look up the lore doesn't deserve to know the secrets anyway imo 😶
@sageofsouls4 жыл бұрын
@@hellzonefirebrigade3056 (TL;DR at the bottom!) Well, I will give Hyrule Gamer this: newer generations of Zelda players may not have played Ocarina of Time or its 3D remake (for one reason or another), so those specific Sages' names may not really be known to them. From memory, only Zelda II: Adventures of Link and Ocarina of Time mention those Sages by name, and Zelda II has their names as the names of towns and not referenced as previous Sages (almost certainly because Zelda II was made before Ocarina of Time). Several other games have references to those Sages, such as Wind Waker's depiction of those Sages on the stained glass panels in the Master Sword's room, but their names are not mentioned directly. The only other game that I know of off the top of my head without doing the research that mentions one of Ocarina of Time's Sages by name is actually Breath of the Wild, anyway, which mention's Ruto's name in one of the broken stone tablets on the way to Zora's Domain. Because of this, it is quite possible that a lot of players may not know this secret yet and this video, despite many other videos before this one mentioning the reference that is made with the Divine Beasts, may be the first time they come across it. And it's also quite possible, given the way the same newer generations are, that instead of reading lore, players go to KZbin videos for their research and them coming to this video WOULD be them doing the research. Though, I will admit that one would be a little far-fetched, given that this isn't a lore video and more of a secrets video. But still. In any case, you could be a Legend of Zelda fan and are starting to get into the lore, but Breath of the Wild was your first Zelda game and so you could be more interested in secrets that are hidden within that game at the same time you're learning the lore and this video just happened to enlighten you in both fields. There are a lot of scenarios that are possible that defend the newer players in this situation. Now, if they are older players like us and they played Ocarina of Time and didn't really bother for the lore and just played the game and weren't able to make this connection, then that's their own fault and I'd agree with you that they don't deserve to know the secrets. :P Tl;dr: It's possible that newer players are only just now starting to learn the lore because Breath of the Wild was their first Legend of Zelda game and they saw this video and wanted to know about secrets in Breath of the Wild and this is their first time hearing about it because they haven't gotten to those games yet or read that part of the lore yet.

One of my personal favourite little "secret" spots, is to the south-west of the Hateno Tower. There's a small hot water spring on the side of the mountain, but you never find an explanation why something that's supposed to be only in volcanic regions can be found there. Nor does anybody acknowledge its existence. It's useful, as its a free healing spot. But one can't help but wonder why its there. You can even find a Korok seed there.

I really wished they made building Tarrey Town a post game moment. The final cutscene is Zelda going off to the Zora Domain to check up on Vah Ruta and she stays there while you continue bringing peace to Hyrule. The whole quest with Tarrey town feels like something you would do after beating the big bad and finally rebuilding Hyrule starting with a new town.

Ok, this is a big one, and you may have heard this from other KZbinrs. So like he said, "DONT GO FULL KAREN ON ME." So if you go to Hateno Tech Lab, you'll find a strange piece of machinery hung from the ceiling. I was wondering what it was, so I googled it and found out that many other people had seen it and wondered about it as well. So apparently, that machine was apparently an early concept design for the Zora's Divine Beast. It was designed to be a manta ray(like a sting ray but bigger). If you look at early designs for the divine beasts, you'll find a giant manta ray Divine Beast under the water. I thought this was a super cool Easter egg/secret. Like if you think this is an awesome easter egg!👇👇👇

Thank you so much for sharing these secrets, I didn't realise there were chalk lines on the floor, getting cheaper deals when it rains, or know about cooking under the blood moon! I wouldn't be surprised if those 3 large green rocks together are a reference to Turtle Rock. So many landmarks from across the games are there already, why not lump in another one! (I found the remains of Lon Lon Ranch in Central Hyrule, but got ambushed by a Guardian, a gang of bokoblins, and a Yiga Blademaster! I just wanted to see the ranch! XD)

Also, if you look closely you might recognise, that Purah carries a school bag (specifically an elementary school bag) and the table in her chamber upstairs is a typical school desk, complete with fitting chair.

A very useful secret about cooking that almost no one know involves the monster extract that Link can buy from Kilton. So we know that we can cook with it to make several Monster Dishes from Monster Cake to Monster Stew, however it can also be used to super amp up a dish making the time of some buffs a lot longer. Like you can make a hasty dish last up to a whopping 30 minutes!!! However it come with the risk of hit or miss. It can max out a buff or make it as weak as possible and only last 1 minute.... so it's a coin toss, but totally worth it when you can make food buffs last half an hour! Give it a try!

The great plateau IS like the ocarina of time if you think about it. Shrine of resurrection and the outside part is Kokiri forest, the forest is like the lost woods, the field with tower is Hyrule field, river of the dead and cold area is Hyrule lake, temple of time is a mini Hyrule castle and town!

Speaking of the OOT carpenters, if you move forward while jumping repeatedly, you will "prance" like the carpenters do, which is a nod to them. ALSO, there is a Turtle Rock on the east edge of Zora's Domain (you find three silent princesses there).

you can literally translate any ancient text anywhere and it will make sense or be some kind of refrence. like stairs/ledges in shrines have the text "DUNGEON" on them repeating over and over. or the locked memories have their location written in ancient text, making it easier to find them. as said, any ancient text you can see has some kind of meaning or reference
@samuraicupcake2894 жыл бұрын
Inside the shrines, around some platforms there is glowing sheikah text that translates to DUNGEONDUNGEON :o Also, the thingimajig to use motion control puzzles says "GYRO". The text above the sheikah monks says "GOALPOINT". On the puzzle orbs it says "STONESPHERE". In the map, under the names of places it says "PLACE", "LOCATION", "MOUNTAIN", "WATER".
