Great video!! I want to do a similar cruise to include Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.. maybe Iceland too! I really want to go take the Bergen train line to Oslo in the winter.. The video of that line is AMAZING and I want to experience it!

I think we may have been on the same cruise. I just ran across you today as I am looking at Celebrity Apex and found your posts from the Pride. We sailed on June 30th on the Norway cruise out of Dover. I found a post in our cruise group on Facebook I believe may have been you that is what lead me to think we were on the same. Definitely a trip of a lifetime and that Birksdal Glacier was amazing. You said the same thing I said that the pictures and videos don't even begin to capture it. Only difference, we walked up and down. :-) Enjoying your videos so far.

Great video Zach - sorry you had the fog in Alesund. I just left there three days ago while sailing NCL Prima and we were blessed with clear skies and epic views at Trollstigen. One of the most spectacular places I've ever visited. We did have the fog in Bergen however - as you said, that's nature. 🤔

Stunning! Means a lot you went to the fisherman's memorial. Here in Seattle, we have a great many fishermen and fewer women who hail from Norway. It's my understanding though that soon, many ships won't be allowed to sail to Norway. Is that something you've heard? Thanks for the beautiful video.

They'll be allowed to sail to Norway, but not enter the fjords unless the ship is zero emission.

The route is simpler than it seems on google maps. I wouldn't worry too much about walking there. However, let me just warn you that during tourist season, the funicular line gets long fast. I would recommend going there first, so you skip most of the lines. It can get quite insane there. Especially when a boat with 3000+ people disembark, and the funicular is sized to bring much less than that at a time.

Norway looks spectacular, I'm sure your footage is just a taste of what's there to see. I've always wanted to do a roadtrip up the coast to see the fjords and this video has put that idea closer to the forefront of my mind. But that will have to wait since I'm flying to Rome tomorrow so I can board the Celebrity Constellation ("Connie") on Thursday! Almost done packing!
