People driving around with brights always on and going 15 under the rest of traffic is Northern Virginia/DC area. My daily is a Miata and my other is a old german ford and I am blinded because of the lights going directly into my eyes. Many accidents around my area are caused by people going too slow and getting rearended.

I live around there too. So many Toyotas with the insanely bright lights burning retinas

@@RandysOfWar Toyota Corolla and Prius drivers are the worst here. My most hated is Minivan drivers around Fairfax. They drive like shit and will pace a Metro bus at 10 under and you can't go around them and if one is coming towards you there will be a 90% chance loss of sight. I deliver for Ubereats each night so I put some super bright high beams on my Miata. I enjoy lighting up their cab like a poltergeist.

​@@RandysOfWar I live in Reston and my noncar neighbors hate me but all the carguys here are really nice and think I'm silly. I love seeing these videos because they are always so relatable. The worst sort of noncar person IMO is the ones that tell me that it's "unladylike" to be so into cars. Or the ones that suggest I buy something practical. I cursed out a dealership in January and left crying simply because the guy suggested a base model Civic to me after he sold the Corvette I wanted to buy to someone else.

@@LibertyDrives Lol that Miata makes me giggle. I had never owned one before but needed a cheap fun car right away after a serious accident and bought a Special Edition. It's always in direct line of headlamps. When I finish with my Ford Sierra I am gonna put some period-correct Hella Rally lamps on it. I'll Xray a minivan with those if it shine brights at me.

When it comes to paint, my hoopties don't really matter much, Rangers sitting at 19 years old and my XJ just sits in the driveway. As for high beams, my favorite tactic was hitting the light bar switch on the Jeep to get their attention, I said was because the aforementioned Jeep is still sitting in the driveway.

Aye I'm glad you're glad man😂 I started workin a couple weeks before I turned 15 specifically so I could buy a nicer first car than my older siblings lol. In hs I worked a little throughout the school year, still enjoyed my summers workin like 3 days a week since I knew I worked throughout the year when my friends didn't, always paid for my phone, phone plan, insurance, and car, and bought a fun car when I was 16. Anyone can do it and you're that much better off if you know more about cars but you've got plenty of time to learn. It's not worth stressin about. My only advice would be don't get car payments and make sure you've got at least a thousand dollars of spare cash when you get your car in case anything goes wrong. You got this man
