Great list! I have all of those and they are do well in our heat. This is my first spring with dianthus and wasn’t sure they could take full sun. Good to know they can so I can get them planted in their spot. I saw 4 o’clocks suggested and I agree with those. Also I might include guara that comes in pink. Mine did well this spring and can take sun. As usual, another great informational video! 😁

Ok…now I need to get some more plants! Pink Salvia and more lantana! I have phlox that I started about five years ago from a Dollar Tree seed mix…it comes back every year bigger and better!

Great video. Proud to say that I have all of them currently blooming in my garden, except for the phlox. I planted three phlox last year in full sun last year, but I guess they weren't expecting the "pizza oven" temperatures we had here in TX zone 9 and subsequently, didn't make it back this year. My irises are still blooming, and I picked my last gladiola last week.

The pinky roses that I purchased from Antique Rose Emporium is a repeat bloomer, loves the sun and does well in the summer heat for me 🤷‍♀️ multiple clusters of small pink roses on a single branch

@@shesamadgardener I have had a fairy rose for many years. Continuous tiny pink blooms early spring and on, and it’s evergreen. One of my favorite plants in my garden and one of the oldest.

I’ve grown many of them and have never had an issue with any … my favorite is paradiso super duper!

I'm curious about your phlox comment. Mine bloom from June till September and I also live in Texas. I have mine located where they get sun from morning till around 2pm then shade from my fence afterwards. I do water if not once then twice daily once the temperature is over 90. This works for me so I hope this information may be helpful for you.

I grew cleome last year and LOVED it! It’s annual for me.

@@shesamadgardener grew cleome once-- 10 yrs ago from seed. (I'm in zone 7a. It's an annual here). The cleome self-sows every season. Not really a perennial. I just move the seedlings to the place I want them to ne. Have never had to grow another plant from seed. Have you ever grown Japanese anemone? There are several pink varieties. It flowers from late August where I live.

Love peonies! They don’t tend to be heat loving in my area.
