I have 2 lords with a translocator shroud. One is like you suggested attached to a unit of immortals with a chronomancer for a midboard rush. The other one is attached to a full squad of warriors with gauss reapers and a plasmancer. I use My Will be Done for a conquering tyrant strategem with Szeras standing behind the column, easily keeping up with his 8 movement. 40 shots hitting on 3+, critting on 5+, with 2 armor penetration brought down more than a fair share of tough units - especially if the unit has a 2+ save and 4+ invuln with around 10-15 wounds. A guaranteed 6" advance with moving through obstacles is a godsend for the slow clankers with a wee 12" range on their guns and since conquering tyrant works for an entire squad you can shoot with the plasmancer too. If all else fails you can always try to finish off a target with the plasmancer living lightning. A warrior reroll on the animation protocol roll also works well with the resurrection orb.

Trying to work out how your shooting after advancing with warriors. Sudden storm is the only one I can see. 2 strats to do the above

@@Planet40K yeah sorry, my bad :D the conquering tyrant is the "I wanna fish for Lethals" strategem. Sudden storm is the "assault keyword" one.

In Hypercrypt Legion can make super Overlord with the auto advance 6 enhancement on a regular overlord. :D

But why do they just for the -1 to damage. Essentially you’re paying those pts to get both abilities on one model and in a big block of immortals or warriors it won’t really make a difference.

I got only one Shroudie Overlord and he always goes with LychGuard. Ensuring this slow brick gets in to action in T2 is important. Maybe i will try it out for the immortals as many people recommend. What should i use instead of the lychguard in that case?

The Translocation Shroud adds 6" to the move characteristics of the unit being led. Doesn't that mean they technically have not advanced, therefore not having assault isn't an issue? Also, if an opponent hit you with a -x to move and advance it only impacts the move (move stat + 6")?

Your not reading the full ability.. First line “Each time this model’s unit Advances..” The -x is applied to the movement overall. (This is because an advance move is just added to the normal move)

@@Planet40K I saw that and the 'do not make an advance roll'. The reason I thought it was different is that other wording I have seen says auto advance 6", not add 6" to move characteristic. Thanks for clearing that up.

А у Оверлорда с коредором разве нет " штурм" ? Помню я слышал что у него есть " штурм" +20 Воинов с дробовиком и Хрономансер Движение 11". Выстрел на 12" Ушел на 5"
