Born & raised in Chicago. It has 77 communities that outline unique neighborhoods throughout the city. It has a gorgeous skyline and lots of beauty around the city. Is it a “perfect” city? No, because every major city throughout the nation have problems, too. However, with that being stated, Chicago will always be the center of attention from lovers & haters. Don’t believe in the negative hype on Chicago, it’ll always come back, as an exciting city.

There are safe and affordable communities outside of the Chicago area, but the issue is jobs. For instance, Central Illinois is beautiful, and I was shocked with how much house you could get under 400k. I would check out Morton, Germantown, and Dunlap, IL. if you work from home. These communities are safe and offer a ton of amenities. All are located in the Peoria metro area.

Chicago needs more diverse neighborhoods. Plus Chicago need STEAM schools for children. Amen!💯
