@@huskycruxes7232 yes but in order to do that it would be better for Rockstar to create another franchise outside of the Red Dead series but still taking place in the Red Dead universe, with a new concept, because considering that Jack was 19 in 1914, by the time he's middle aged for example there would be no more of horse riding with revolvers all around, it would be anachronistic, the world was already widely modernized. so that's why if they decide to make a RDR3 it would be best to go further back in time, the golden days of the gang are still untold in the series.

I would definitely recommend to anybody, ESPECIALLY since the 60FPS update. Looks like a freaking whole new game. It also has a story expansion called Undead Nightmare, so once you actually beat RDR1, the fun doesnt stop there! Because now you get Wild West ZOMBIES!!! Have fun bro!

This is truly one of Rockstars best, for a 2010 game it still holds up really well. Though the fact the game never got a PC port is wild, and what is even more criminal is this game right now on the Playstation store is on SALE and still more EXPENSIVE than RDR 2 right now.. $56 AUD for RDR and $30 AUD for RDR 2... Actually dumb. Can only recommend if you have a PS3 or are an Xbox player tbh, physical copies for old gen are extremely cheap if you know where to look.

Great vid! Agree with everything here, and anyone who even thinks about being bored at the start of this game - it is purely an introduction into the epic world of Red Dead Redemption.. I played this to death on release and damn I'll never forget that first ride into Mexico.. unreal, no game will ever make you feel the way this one does. Undead nightmare was just too good to be true aswell, I remember spending (irl) nights hunting the legendary Chubacabra, only to finally spot him and nail it one in the head, that was the final hunt until the Unicorn came swooping in. What a time to be alive, literally epic times for gaming.

Rdr 1 is more fun than rdr 2 in a lot of ways. The wanted system and being psycho jack is actually really fun. It’s not nearly as complex as rdr 2, but it’s really good and has a lot of funny and shocking dialogue. Rdr 1 is more like a parody if spaghetti westerns and just more fun in my opinion.

@@adityamenon6365 rdr 2 has teleporting lawmen with perfect accuracy and if you bump into one guy in the town with no laws, the entire town shoots you. Obviously rdr2 is more advanced and has better gunplay, but to me rdr 1 is more fun to cause mayhem in. Going to casa madruga and causing havoc was hilarious. I feel the same way about gta v vs gta 4 and it’s mostly due to the wanted system and enemies with perfect accuracy.

This year i bought my first gaming laptop. Discovered i was too old for GTA V, too hasty for Middle earth series, didn't click with Cyberpunk and the first game i enjoyed and finished was RDR2. And RDR on Xenia emulator after. Experience was great. I plan to repeat RDR2 soon when i buy a nice monitor, but i fear nothing will top them and i just started gaming...

I’m playing through all the online modes right now on ps3 for trophy hunting purposes and btw the undead nightmare mode can still very much be played. In fact it’s surprising just how active the online still is and despite it not looking its best or performance not being that amazing on the old ps3 it’s still offers a great time! Like you mentioned the stripped back simplicity really helps, there’s still a ton of stuff to play and do though.

Being a 2010 release RDR has way more similarities to past Rockstar games, primarily GTA IV and even GTA V, 2008 and 2013 respectively, in the fact that it’s more lighthearted and NPCs (and their actions/reactions) are way more hilarious. RDR2 for its narrative, roleplaying and immersion and RDR for its simplicity, nostalgia and overall fun.

First off, you want to get used to handling the lasso. To equip it, open the hotbar tab (the one where you can see your equipped guns, etc) and equip the lasso. Next, follow Bonnie and her father to where the horses are at. Now, for the actual lassoing part.* How to lasso: • Get near the horses • Aim the lasso on one of the horses, then fire (like firing a gun, but DON'T USE A GUN!!!!) •Get off the horse once you successfully lasso a horse. Do note that Bonnie and her father will support you, so you can get off the horse and unlasso the horse. *DO NOTE THAT YOU STILL HAVE TO HOLD THE FIRE BUTTON WHILE GETTING OFF THE HORSE AND WALKING TO IT* • Stay on balance - as much as possible, prompt the L button on the middle. Wiggle it left and right slightly and simultaneously. I own this game on Xbox 360 and it was awesome, I played through whole story but only thing that bothered me was when you travel big distance by the horse you freez in place and textures just dont load, on pause menu everything is gone but you can hear when scrolling but some says its either because I use one save or game didnt save properly last time and save got damaged still I didn't mind game is still good

But yes, you can play RDR1 after RDR2 without any problems.

Man i got spoiled of both games i just bought red dead 1 after finishing 2 but you know what i still cry when arthur died so i think this will still be good even if i got spoiled i just wanna know how much is gonna affect my experience play first the 2 and then the 1 because there are almost a decade of time difference

Rdr2 is the best game ever made, and rdr1 is the second best game how bout that, rdr2 can almost make a grown human cry, and rdr1 also has one of the best stories in games.

You didn’t mention the story that is really amazing ,not like rdr 2 because Is like an insane Western movie but really worthy ,guys btw you should try La Noir with gta plus all these games are free for a subscription..

I downloaded RDR2 on my ps4 but debating if I should delete it and download RDR1 before playing part 2 .. I have never played this game before .. should I just start playing part 2 or what ? Please help

I’m playing it again on ps4. Still have the OG on ps3. I love the quirky Marston gang with Marshal Leigh, Irish, Seth, Nigel, Shady, Eli and Jonah better than the Van der Linde.

Gaming being company run is the biggest mistake. Fun and Corporations do not mix. Especially nowadays. They're all terrible at business. And they've become a lot worse since 2010 and before.
