Business is a great degree someone can do! All reasons are true and amazing the most favorite part about studying business is you basically taste everything literally, you gain knowledge and experience in every field. From psych to law, from tech to econ etc. And also you can go in any industry and can work in so many different fields.

I was like you. Choosing business studies as a degree because it’s a ‘safer choice’ and because my family owned businesses as well lol. If I could talk to my previous self, I’d push myself to do digital marketing and design since it’s something I love. Nevertheless, business studies did help me very much in terms of thinking outside the box. Prepping me for the working world? Hell no 😂

I choose to do business Administration because I want to work for a great company and I want to own my own company I do want to be a CEO of my own company. I love your inspiration giving your own advice on business career and that is great you were born into a family that are business owners. However I wasn't born into a business owning family, I come from a low poor working family. That is one other reason why I want to do business and to raise my kids into a business owner family. Im on here as well...I cant decide if I should do a Bachelor in Business Administration / Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship - I love running a business. I currently do not have a degree but have successfully owned my own business for 8 years - through trial and error and messing up etc I have learnt the ins and outs....however I need a Degree on my CV as I am planning to move overseas and all the good payment jobs require a DEGREE as a requirement. But I'm torn between the two

As a current full time business student the two things I have to do the most are a ton of group projects and essay writing. I’ve had classes where I was scheduled to present a project but luckily enough my professors gave the class the option to narrate the presentations and submit it in that way. Depending on the school, the meetings are sometimes mandatory. For example, I used to go to a well known public university and I rarely ever had to attend class meetings. I’m now enrolled in a private university and most of my class meetings are mandatory to attend. I hope this helps!

I have been struggling for a long time with whether I should apply for business in university or not, cuz my maths really sucks that makes me feel afraid of data analysis and calculations. But I also think that I am interested in business study, so I do not know if students with poor maths skills could do business in uni, is there any advice that could be given?

Normally most UK business degrees only have maths based modules like accounting or data analysis as compulsory in the first year, which doesn’t count towards your final grade. In the second and third year, you get more optional modules so you can avoid doing any kind of maths module. Hope this helps!
