5 REASONS WHY I HATE MY SCREAMER PIPE! (INTERNAL WASTEGATE)

Ive had a good journey with the internal wastegate screamer pipe but im and tired of it and have lost all the love I used to have for it.

You can put a screamer pipe on but u need to be smart make sure that it seals from the wastegate .

lmao i use a soda bottle to cover mines.. but for my external wastegate the valve is shut so even if water gets in there when the car is warmed up i do a few pulls to get rid of the water it either evap or gets sprayed out at WOT

Isn’t this an external wastegate mate? Internal means it’s in the exhaust, good video tho

It’s internal because it’s part of the turbo housing. External means the turbo housing does not have a wastegate so you need to have a manifold with a place to mount the external wastegate. I have a divided downpipe which is know as a screamer pipe because it screams when the wastegate is open lol normal downpipes route the wastegate and exhaust portion of the turbo both through the exhaust.

What engine do you have? If you have an internal wastegate turbo then google whatever engine you have and then “screamer pipe” and it should pop up
