130k miles on my original engine on my 929. It was running perfect when I swapped out the engine. I still have the bike and its now my racebike. Great machine.

I have owned my 929RE since 2009. I'm never getting rid of it. Plus I spent TOO much money on building it lol. Completely took it apart in 2013. Powdercoated the frame gloss black. 2008 CBR Wheels coated white. Brembo brakes front and rear. Built engine with Wisco 980cc pistons, Carrillo Rods, Web Camshafts with the CBR 600 F4i valve springs. Micropolished transmission. PENKSE rear shock and Traxxion Dynamics front fork Cartridge kit. With the PCV and O² Sensor Auto tuners she Makes 172hp.

Badass man, stunning bike! I have the regular 2001 CBR929 and love it! I have had new bikes as well 2018 Harley Fatbob 114, 2019 KTM 1290, and 2010 CBR600rr. The CBR929 is my baby, have sold the others but will never part with her. She’s just too good and she only has 16k miles on her so plenty of life left!

That bike is Brad's baby. Sad to say the bike is up for sale. We live in a populated area and he has had too many close calls from stupid drivers. He has been riding bikes his whole life and he said he has never felt this defensive while riding ever. He is really sad that he is selling that bike, but he rather be safe then sorry. Good thing we are building him a 929RR track build. If you are looking for a 929RR Erion Racing Edition just let us know. We would love it to sell it to one of our subscribers to keep it in the family. Thanks for checking out the video!

@@alwayssomethinggarage794I am not looking for another bike at the moment for that same exact reason, too many idiots on the road looking at their phones and not the road. I kept my 929rr because I love it and will always want a bike in my garage. When I do ride it I only ride the back roads and its only for a joy ride I never use it for actual transit to an from. If I have to run errands and go into the city im in the Audi or truck. Good luck with the sale!

I just bought a Honda 929 year 2000 with 12 thousand miles on it in mint condition love it its a Beautiful bike after 22 years old. I love the latter 90s bikes early 2000 just my opinion they look better too me. I have a kawasaki ZX6R 2008 and a ZXR 1000cc 2012. I ain't a fan of Yamaha or suzuki at all my opinion Though. Great videos!, I bought a 929, built it up for the track, (Even got an ex Erion FX Ohlins shock off of maybe Bostroms bike, or Roberts) Anyway down the rabbit hole I go! looking at boreing to 980cc. I'm trying to find the followup video to your engine build after you had it stripped down, the bearing selection was discussed, is there a video with the engine assembly with the Je pistons you acquired? love to see it and get feedback on how the bike performed after! I'm in expert class at local club, the 929's been on the podium every race I've entered thus far. it's been opening a few eyes what a well setup bike can do when ridden hard. I made a few $20,000 bikes look silly. with my $4000 project bike.

I love my 2000 929rr . I don't think its the Erion Racing edition , but it did come with an Erion Racing exhaust , any thoughts ? I think maybe the previous owner put it on because it was "designed for it" as far as not having to ecu flash or whatever . I feel like mine needs a tune though

So my pops has had his 01 929 since 2002. And I’ve been riding it the past few years. I’m 5’11” and I completely flat foot the bike perfectly. That’s because my dad had the seat lowered just so he can fit on it. Pops is roughly 5’8” and he has to tippy toe whenever we come to a stop on it. So stock height may be a slight issue if someone were to be on the shorter side.

@@pressure2386 thanks for response :) I'm 6'5 myself and was curious about it, I'll try it and see, might go for streetbike though, as the sports ones I have tried, was too small.
@pressure2386
@pressure2386 2 жыл бұрын
@@dewgaming9479 I haven’t had the pleasure to sit on it stock height, but it might just be fine for someone as tall as you. Only thing I do find quite annoying is that the pegs are pretty far high so your knees would probably sit much higher than others. But besides that, it’s one of the more comfortable sports bikes I’ve been on. It’s an amazing piece of machinery for what it is in all honesty
@pressure2386
@pressure2386 2 жыл бұрын
But yeah being 6’5, I could definitely see why you may be having some fitment issues on them. At 5’11, the cbr feels absolutely perfect for me at its lowest settings on stock spring. Hell I’d say I could go even a bit higher and still be comfortable
@juicy9592

im 6.4 and have it raised a bit. its tall enough but it gets on your wrists when raised im thinking opf lowering it again for comfort. its no problem for tall people. atleast for me its not@@dewgaming9479
