This handheld is a beast! The screen is gorgeous! I stream all my games through moonlight/sunshine, and playing everything maxed out on a handheld. It's freaking incredible playing AAA pc games maxed with raytracing on this device. Unbelievable! Obviously you need a solid gaming comp and high speed internet to get the best out of streaming (I have a 4090 and 1gig internet), but THIS is the way to play handhelds at home. Super impressed with how far tech and streaming has come.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago from eBay, second hand with 2TB SSD already installed, £500. Absolute bargain, looks brand new, and I'm amazed with how good it is. Far better than the Steam Deck OLED I sold to put towards it. I love the large screen resting on the arm of my sofa with the detached controllers.

The battery on the Ally X gives it the edge. The display on this is a bit of an overkill for a handheld.

@@whacker4321 to be honest the battery life is one of the not so good aspects of the legion go. 50wh battery leads to about 1.5 hrs on performance mode. 3-4 hours max on battery saving mode

Love mine but the battery life is shocking! I bought it to play on the go but you literally get 1 hour and 30 mins maybe 1 hour when on the go with top games. Which defeats the point of it. I end up playing it plugged in all the time which is an inconvenience and like I said defeats the purpose. But when it comes to the console itself it's 10/10 it's unbelievable just wish u could get more battery life

Yeah, I ordered one from best buy for pickup because of the sale, the truth of the matter is I'm still not sure about it but just wanted to lock in the 500 dollar price. If i do pick it up rather than cancelling I have around 75 days to try it and still be able to return it since the Christmas return window is extended. I'll just be streaming games off my desktop/gaming laptop to it though so the potential upcoming upgrades are rather irrelevant to my use case and I will be able to take full advantage of the 1600p display. I basically just want it to play games in bed and when I'm camping in my RV. A full fledged windows tablet will also be nice just for browsing the web in bed.

These handhelds are getting ridiculous in size these days 😂 for the price and size just buy a console or get an actual handheld sized device. For me something the size of the switch lite or retro is pocket4pro is the max size i want in a portable machine.

its the best size for portable gaming. 7inch screen too small. legion go is the best handheld due to its screen,features and versatility

yeah, i agree it's probably not the ideal size for a 'pure' gaming handheld but i do think it is very ideal for someone who wishes to do a little more than just game. since it's practically just a pc, it's perfect for doing a few errands on the go, watching movies, etc. the smaller form factor makes it much more convenient than most laptops. while it isn't as powerful, i like that it can do other tasks while still fulfilling its main role as a gaming handheld.

These devices are not aimed for people like you, you can stick with what you mention because they match your needs, and let the other people buy what they want. The steam deck is a big and heavy device, but when they release the next gen of it, it would beat the sales of any consle for sure, desktop for works and gaming mode for any game you can think of, all in one device that is half of any consle in size? I don't think that anything else can beat that.

Honestly with legion go its perfect for someone who travels alot that prefers a gaming laptop feel like The only issue is just the battery lol But overall its very underrated because of the switch like feel. Honestly i choose this over ally x or steam deck both of those fan bois are ripping each other apart whos better or not 🫤
