if you are interested in pokemon manholes, try going to Serigaya park, it is north from Tokyo nad in the nice park you can find 6 of them. The near by town of Machida is also nice

They have the largest wisteria tree in Japan, called Akebono Fuji. And it isnt just a random large tree but it is a large tree in Achi Shrine.

Regarding your pursuit of visiting every prefecture, I would recommend going to Ise should you visit Mie prefecture (if you haven't already: I'm not keeping track). Ise is generally a very rich place in terms of it's cultural and historical significance, with perhaps the most important shrine in Shinto (The Ise Grand Shrine) located in Ise, which is the primary shrine dedicated to Amaterasu (who is generally considered the head deity of the Shinto pantheon), and has a strong connection with the imperial family of Japan. It's got a few other cool shrines as well aside from the grand shrine, such as Sarutahiko Shrine and Tsukiyominomiya Shrine which similarly enshrine incredibly significant Shinto deities. There's also a shopping/food section near Ise Grand Shrine situated in Edo-period buildings called Okage Yokocho. Overall, I'd reckon it'd be worth it if you're planning on going to Mie prefecture already.

The Ise Grand Shrine is nice, but it'd be fun to see what he thinks of the Shima Spain Mura amusement park.

@@ericng5707 That'd also be pretty cool, and the area around it in the south of Mie where its located is pretty nice. You can also pretty easily see both if you travel by railway as well, with Ise being on the way to Shima.

I live in Okayama! It's honestly a lovely place to live. A shame you didn't check out Korakuen garden! It's one of the 3 royal gardens of Japan, it's pretty neat (especially during cherry blossom season, attracts a lot of tourists)

Been there and it was probably the most boring city with direct shinkanzen access i have seen in Japan so far. Kurashiki is so overhyped it rivals Arashiyama. Then again, the shinkanzen just runs through it because it needs to go to Hiroshima.

You'll probably go to Kintaikyo Bridge in Iwakuni, but while you're in Iwakuni keep an eye out for the Bridge's anime girl mascot. Also go up to the castle above Kintaikyo Bridge, great views from up there.
