You can stream Satellite from your phone. I also use Nav from my phone, but it's nice to have built in GPS if there is no cell service
@keithrad111 ай бұрын
Apple only. No android GPS, streaming doesn't work (or cell GPS) very well in the mountains and deserts of AZ. HD had issues with Google maps so that's one reason for no GPS on Android. I'd just have to subscribe. It's a beautiful bike otherwise. I'm thinking of compromises to talk myself into it. Only have 16K on my 22 RG with all these features. Hard decision. Not a money issue, it's a compromise issue.

IMO, these CVO bikes were rushed into production early to benefit HD bottom line for 2023. Customers are doing the validation HD should have done before releasing the bikes. At least Harley is recalling for fixes instead of making proper updates and SELLING an upgrade kit to early adopters like they usually do.
@kman-mi7su11 ай бұрын
The old adage also applies, "Never buy a new-to-market model, wait for a few". There are always issues that need to be ironed out. There is a lot of new stuff on those bikes and the motor and that scares me.
@RidingandWrenching11 ай бұрын
My problem is that I am an "early adopter". I couldn't resist buying it! It's a fantastic motorcycle. HD needs to do a better job of responding to the issues. I imagine that it must be difficult, but the issues need to be resolved.

Here is what I dont like about these new LED screens in the motorcycle or car dash. I would rather have the old style analog gauge instead of the new digital gauge on an LED screen. To make a LED tach or speedo to look like an analog gauge is pointless. What I want on my large LED screen is Google Maps. If HD cannot deliver flawless Hi resolution Google Maps then their big screen is a fail.
@RidingandWrenching11 ай бұрын
technically you can get google maps, but you would have to do it through an iPhone. It was Googles decision to withdraw support for Android Auto. I agree with your point about mimicking analog gauges. I like the digital display though. It has been working well (minus the bugs)
