The best thing I like about my budgies is they always give me signs of what they want.. for example when they wanna sleep they will come on my shoulders and start yawning 😂 and I just put them in cage and cover them. When they wanna eat something else other than seeds they will go and sit on top of dining table and start yelling. I didn’t expect budgies to be this understanding about things like dogs but turns out birds are smart as well with giving signs of what they want..

Keep a bowl of food (seed mix) and a separate bowl for water all the time, no need to take it out, just replace it every day to keep it fresh and clean, and don't forget to offer a lot of safe vegetables daily!

Hey, I decided something and I would like to know if it is safe to my budgies or no, does it affect their health, emotions, feelings. I live in a building and on the second floor, and have to go downstairs of the building to reach the exit, So I placed my budgies cage right next to my door, next to the stairs, the temperature is very nice and it isn't a dusty place, is everything okay with that decision and should I return them back?

Sounds OK to me, just make sure the cage can't fall or roll downstairs. Also, please prevent wild birds (pigeons) from coming anywhere near them because they might infect them with viruses or diseases, or even mites!

I have a question and I can't really tell ,so yesterday a snake got into my bird cage and killed one of my birds but I had another bird in the cage and he survived and I don't know how to tell if he's actually okay he will get on my hand when I tell him "up" and he eats and I don't know if he drinks cuz it's hard to see them drink but I don't know how to tell if he's actually okay right after we got the snake out of the cage, we cleaned the whole cage and the food and the water bowls he will even chirp am I even got him a new friend and they seem to get along very well but after we had put him back into the cage after we cleaned it his feathers were puffed up for a little bit not very long but a little bit I have even started spending a lot more time with him but I can't really take him out of the cage lunch because we have a lot of other animals like cats and dogs but the cats don't really mess with the birds or does the dog but can you maybe help me?😅

I have a question, for about 3 months I had my male budgie and things went really well, he is still easely scared but we are friends. After those 3 months I got him a female one. I putted her in cage with him as soon as she got there. She and I dont go well even after 3 months all together, she even doesnt want to eat from my hand even if she is starving. And for some reason when I put my hand in the cage to change food and water male ATTACKS female for no reason. Was a fault that I putted them together from start and how do I fix this problem? Hey, He attacks her because she starts to freak out because of your hand and it makes both of them nervous and that's why the male attacks. You should have tamed her before letting them meet, but it's too late now so the best thing you can do is to tame them separately. Take the female in the cage (without the male) to a different room she isn't familiar with so the only thing she will know is you, and start to tame her. Hey, just to make sure, your budgie has a problem with the eyes, right? You should take it to the vet as soon as possible, or contact one online for a small fee, I'm not a vet but I have an experience with these kind of problem with other bird species and I've always used Synthomycine, if you can get this ointment or drops. Use it 2 times a day, morning and evening for 3 days, clean your hand before using*** If it's an ointment, put just a little (it's a very strong ointment) and rub VERY gently into the eye, if it's dropps, one drop in the morning one drop in the evening. After 3 days it should get better

My bird was a demon he bit me everyday but know he’s the best pet ever he never bites and he always gives me kisses That’s how u gained his trust! 1- I took him to the vet to clip his wings because if u want to be with your pet without him running away 2- I keep her in my room when she’s out because she feels more safe in there sense Iam usually in my room , just keep them with you 3- when he bites Dont hurt him or shout or push him away it will make him even want to bite more sense he sees your reactions 4- take him out side even if it’s your backyard just take him out side if his wings are clipped he can’t fly but if it’s not clipped take him out in his cage 5- feed him in your hands like rewards if he comes out in his cage without biting give him some seeds and also make him try more fruits! Like bananas 6- when it’s time to take your bird to there cage before u go give her a kiss or clap your hands slowly so the bird knows u didn’t lock her up Bec u don’t like her 7- I don’t know if this works for all of the people but when mine was biting I usually took him to the fridge and he would just look and go up to the bananas to eat 8- the most important is when u give your pets a bath 9- let your birds to watch things you do like clean your room or make your bed it will help him know you more he will just watch you do stuff 10- again this one is optional but my bird loves watching KZbin or tv with me he would just calm down and chill I hope this helped becouse it helped me a lot me and my bird are best friends know we even watch anime together !
