@@HaroldRidgeway74 I'm in ct nw corner kinda. Yeah no way Im Climbing today. Even bucket work would be tuff it's the kinda day you get motion sickness if your flying a bucket. You ever have that happen? My first time it happened I tried to fight threw it an after a few hours i had to call it I spent more time closing my eyes an getting my balance right than getting any work done.
@HaroldRidgeway74
@HaroldRidgeway74 2 жыл бұрын
@@scotttam7491 haha never been flying in a bucket, but spent plenty of time flying in circles in the tree and never enjoyed it. Really makes you overthink the quality of the tree you're in.

@@HaroldRidgeway74 oh for sure for sure on a calm day im tieing into these tiny tops 4 to 6 IN that are as springy as wet noodle. On a windy day you get to10 to 12 in wood an say I can't go any higher lol. There something about that sway that I can't ever get used to. But I'd rather be in a tree than in a bucket in the wind. They sway opiset alot of the time an it actually worse than sea sickness . For real I never thought that it would have been so bad till I was there

The speed line kit shown to this dept is so useful. I will be getting this soon. So, I am darn near 62 so this series will be required viewing for the candidate that come to my place. If anyone cares to see the kind of trees I have is shown on my last short. This piece of property will not miss the number of trees but will be happy they are not that close to the house. Thanks

August ! i am new to watching your work and have binge watched so many videos over the last few weeks , i am constantly amazed how fearless you and your great team are tackling trees that look way to dodgy to climb and also the accuracy you deliver when felling a tree my favourite so far is the big tree you and your son did in the lama pen when you took off the gate and layed that big tree in the gap where the gate was which cant have been more than 5 feet wide you truly are an artist in your profession ,and i have to comment also on the way you are with your guys , its a shame more managers and bosses don't treat there workers with such grace and respect , you are a shining example . take care all of you kind regards Nige

Great series- the editing is formidable- really- it gives one a sense of fluid 360 of all involved. Telling a story, keeping the viewer engaged- interested- educated and entertained. Marvelous. Many times over the years I thought…: He cannot top his editing on this one or that one- and … every time…August does it- seemingly - effortlessly. I cannot fathom or comprehend - how you do it, fit it in, and still bring a professional, lightness-of-being style to bear! Hats off to you!

So, August, you have been using the battery powered saws for while now. What is your opinion of them, weight-wise, power-wise? I do bushhogging for the Florida Trail Assoc and lugging gas powered chain saws plus fuel 5 or 6 miles on foot in and out gets tiring. What's the charge time on those, can you get extra battery packs for them? Cheers from Florida
