Golden Rule is to assume all women like you until she actually says otherwise. If you do this you will act in a more flirtatious, confident way around ALL women. I kid you not, there is this woman I had a massive crush on, she and I talked all the time at work and became each others' confidants and told each other all sorts of personal shit. She of course...has a boyfriend who she always complains about and says he's shitty and doesn't respect her and all the usual problem boyfriend shit. But things got sorta weird, I would notice sometimes that she wouldn't even look at me when we'd pass each other in the hallway...very...very weird. Like it was clear she had zero way of not being aware of me because we were the only two people in the hallway (of a very large warehouse retail store) and yet I would look over to see if we made eye contact and NOTHING sometimes. And yet then we'd end up having 40 minute conversations all the time, but I found I was the one chasing most times. I never made a move on purpose (cause she isn't single) but eventually she gave me her number when she found out that I was near her apartment at a brewery (I had zero clue she lived there) and she told me to "Let her know next time I was down there". Ok...suuuuuure. She knew/knows 1000000% that I had a crush on her. She had to know what she was doing. In any case, flash forward and she gets a promotion so she isn't around as much any more. I thought, hmm ok well maybe I'll try to hang out with her outside of work sometime to see what she's like outside of a professional environment. We'd probably talked about hanging out outside work like 5 times and so I thought it was time to make it happen. Asked her for drinks at a brewery the day of the request and naturally got turned down...a little too gusty maybe, most super h0t women are gonna have weekend plans of some kind and of course they're gonna feel a little insulted by a guy thinking their schedule and time is that convenient for him. Ok fine. She suggested maybe we choose a different date if any other days worked better for me too and as we kept texting she ignored my new suggestion and kept texting about the other shit. WOW COOL OK. So a few weeks pass by. We see each other at work a little and chitty chat some and are still on good terms. I think, ok, time for try number 2. I ask to grab some brunch one weekend several days before and NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Completely ignored. Ok so I pulled up my little booties and moved on. That's the sign I needed. I called her bluff and that was that. I was ok with it. The past couple months I had been working on myself anyway...gained 11 pounds of muscle from starting to work out, went back to school for a certification, been working on some hygiene and style improvements, and so on. I felt pretty good about myself and still do! To be fair, some of that was inspired by her, she had been actually quite a positive, supportive influence in my life in the past year I had gotten to know her. Despite the flakey shit she ended up giving me, otherwise, she was sorta my biggest supporter and superfan, hard to find people who gain inspire you to be the best version of yourself and make you want to be superman. At the FUCKING LAST SECOND this woman turns to me as we're passing and calls my name and says hello. Fuck. I return the favor and just say a quick hi. Genuinely surprised she said hi. So I'm standing in a giant aisle and she sneaks up on my ass while I'm alone and makes this big deal out of it. She apologizes for being MIA and not responding. Claims she was out of town every weekend that month. Ok sure. Excuses can be valid sometimes...sure but how hard is a text? She says "I figured you were finally sick of my shit". LOL. I said back "What do you mean? There isn't any shit to be sick of." as in: THERE IS LITERALLY NOTHING BETWEEN US, WE AREN'T DATING AND WE AREN'T REALLY FRIENDS WOMAN. At this point I was past the point of frustration or disappointment in her...at this point I sorta kinda viewed her as a stranger you know? It's not like she and I text, it isn't like we talk on the phone, and we of course don't hang out. So...what gives? What does all this really matter to her? She still has a book I let her borrow that she's reading (it's actually Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules for Life book...don't hate me lol I read that book like 7 years ago or something). But she knows me too well and called me out on it no matter how hard I tried to just dismiss the idea that I was annoyed with her. She said "Look, I know you, you weren't even going to say hi to me today". "Well look" I said "I've just reached a point in my life where I realized if people don't want to engage with me, I'm just gonna do my own thing". She tried to reiterate that, she of course still wants to grab lunch and catch up. Yeah ok, SURE lol. We had a little chance to catch up some before a customer came up and needed my help at which point we broke off. Why the fuck do women do this shit? Can't she just let a dude move on in peace? I have zero idea if she still has that boyfriend. Do you think she just felt guilty or do you think she's noticed me making distance and got all scared she might lose someone good? I hear shit from ladies I work with about how women put men on the backburner who are hubby material but, if that's what this woman is trying, I'd rather just skip to the part where she stops playing stupid games or otherwise fuck off.

Thanks to your video breakdown I now know the girl i was talking to was really pretending and now I have closure and understanding. Before I thought I missed my shot but actually there was no rim. An essentially I probably was another plate she was spinning, a filibuster, or Fun time waster until the guy who she really want comes around.
