I just checked out your website for the first time, and I wish I'd checked it out sooner. The layout is impeccable! I love the fact that when you click on a recipe, it takes you to a page with the recipe! Not a huge, long blogpost about the origins of the recipe and a bunch of pop-up ads all over. Will definitely be searching around your website more frequently for recipe ideas. So glad you guys are back!

As an Indonesian, I'm always happy when you include our native ingredients like ketjap/kecap manis, sambal oelek/ulek, and tempeh. These ingredients are quite cheap in our place + common in all grocery stores, so all the more reason for me to try out your recipe

I just made the potato and red lentil soup and also added some red bell pepper - it was deeeelicious! My 2.5yr old toddler ate a whole bowl and that’s REALLY saying something as we are in a major fussy phase these days! Thank you! ♥️

I made the Red Lentil & Potato soup with 4 small red potatoes, since that’s what was on hand. I added bay leaves, as well as veggie broth in place of water. It was delicious with a dollop of plain, unsweetened cashew yogurt. Thanks for the yummy recipe! 👏🏼 R🍀

The book's plot made me cry! Thanks for bringing soul and connection to food. I have a very strict ascetic type of mother, so eating to fulfil taste has been reprimanded often during childhood . It's a relief to know I don't have to hide that side of myself when I cook because there's a lot of nutrition and love in what you plate as well! Thanks Nadia and Robin! You guys are hilarious! I also love how a lot of the recipes use the same ingredients, so if you want to make them all in a week you can just get a load of potatoes, broccoli, and bell pepper you're pretty much good to go (makes meal planning so easy)! Sometimes it's frustrating when you have to buy lots of different veg and it's difficult to use them all up.

As an Indonesian I also appreciated the Indonesian-style recipe, hopefully this means we'll get an Indonesian-themed video soon? 👀 Also, just a note: while sambal oelek is vegan, not all varieties of sambal are-some contain shrimp paste. If you aren't plant-based then these would taste just as great, but if you are then be sure to check the ingredients before buying!

Hi Sadia and Robin! I absolutely adore your videos ❤ I've been trying a lot of recipes and loved every single one. There is one thing I keep noticing: scraping the knife across your cutting board haha The edge of a knife blade is quite strong when pressed straight up and down, but can bend easily when pushed from side to side. Scraping up food with the knife perpendicular to the board will throw the edge of the blade out of alignment, dulling it. Excited for the next video!

So nice to have you back! I have a question: I used date syrup instead of maple/agave. It was already thick-ish, and adding oil didn't make much of a difference. Is it okay to use it thick, instead of the caramel consistency as shown in the video? Please help! Thanks 😊

Looks great! I usually add sweet potato to a red lentil soup! And also you can use tahini in the granola instead of some of the oil, it adds great taste and more nutritions!

I’m an avid user of thai curry pastes and red lentils because of you, lol. The curries truly add such a depth of flavor. I love that you add the coconut yogurt as well. It looks so thick and creamy but I have never tried it. Do you have a brand of yogurt you are partial to? I find plant base yogurts’ consistency to be so runny but the kind you use never is. Thanks for sharing.

@@Chrissy4281 yeah, I live in the UK and most big grocery stores sell it in the refrigerated plant based section. They make Greek style yogurt that’s soy, coconut or oat based but personally oat is my fave. I’ve also lived in Portugal and found it there too so it might be worth going to one of the big grocery stores local to you and see if you can find anything 😊

What I love about your lifestyle is that you cook food we are already familiar with: e.g. Mexican food! But they’re so vibrant and colorful because you use a large array of vegetables.
