Dear Sadia, You have no idea how much you are influencing my life in a positive way.. I still remember, September 2019, i watched- building self confidence- the very first video i watched from PUL, since then you've become a part of my life and whenever i feel down, your videos bring smile on my face, trust me I'm not exaggerating. Now after 9 months, i see huge changes in me - possitivity, minimalism, productivity and so on. Trust me this is not the exact me who i was 9 months ago. I'm really really grateful to you. Loads of love and hugs. Thanks a lot Sadia❤

Two hours ago I went inside our room and found my older brother and Mom watching your video about plant propagation and I literally screamed, "Pick Up Limes!". I didn't stop telling them bits of pieces about you from then and then I joined them watch more of your uploads (even though I've watched them already haha!) I don't think I can express my utmost gratitude in this comment but (i'll try) you and the whole PUL team have definitely helped me in a lot of aspects ever since I've found your account. PUL goes beyond providing tips and recipes- it is also a source of inspiration that gets me going and like a friend that I could turn to! Thank you for creating wonderful contents, for this video and your message, especially during times like this. Take care always!

Sadia, thank you so much for making a statement about what's going on in the world right now and linking us to all the great resources you recommend. It is a really difficult time in the world but I think if we work together making deliberate choices, learning and consciously acknowledging our own biases and speaking up when we see injustice, a better future is possible for all of us. On another note, the recipes look amazing as always!!! I knew a video must be coming today because I was on your website meal section looking for recipes and noted the new recipes and the youtube times tagged :) as always so happy to have another one of your positive videos to light up the whole world! Quick kitchen tip, grab yourself a sheet of rubber non slip draw liner, just the cheap 2dollar roll will do, keep it handy in the kitchen for opening stubborn jars, they grip really well and pop the lid with far less effort. For the really stubborn ones make sure your mat is also around the jar as well as the lid. 😉 Awesome recipes, cheers. 👍🏾

Without any disrespect to Pick Up Limes because they're amazing and make wonderful food but if you're having trouble getting started start I highly recommend Cheap Lazy Vegan. Everything she makes is super accessible and simple to throw together and makes me think "Ohhh yeah I can do that!“. She doesn't exclusively do super healthy food but lots are (which I think is realistic to how I actually eat) here is a link to her playlist of recipe videos kzbin.info/aero/PLr1A8WQbpv2DHe4FYxH42DNWwRy0atu6k&feature=share best of luck with your cooking adventures. Another beautiful + inspiring post. The fact that you don't lean heavily on soy (which I can't eat), has made your videos a major inspiration for me to dive deeper into vegan meals. In the past, I have appreciated that your videos usually limit soy based meals to 1 out of 3. I so love your inspiration to try new protein sources and food combinations, especially whole grains. Nourish bowls have opened a whole new world of discovery for me, with so much flexibility possible. Your sauces keep me from getting bored with my go-to combos, and are definitely my favorite part of your meals.

I want to try these, especially the sauces. I also need to remember to try soaking my grains. I did learn (from Dr. Greger) that cutting up broccoli at least 45 minutes ahead of time hugely increases absorption of important nutrients. Your inspire me so much Sadia. I've been loving the idea of veganism as a way of maintaining the health and animals. I like the fact you add more plant based food instead of just eliminating animal products. That, I think is the best way to go vegan.

OK here’s an easy way to open a jar you are having a hard time opening. Take a butter knife slip it under the lid at the rim where the lid and glass meet and just gently twist. The lid will pop and then you’ll be able to easily open it.

Or run the side of the lid under hot water! The air inside the jar expands (and builds up pressure) and makes it easier to unscrew

fool proof method, bang the rim of the lid gently on the countertop, this releases the seal

I give the bottom a few good smacks, then take a butter knife and lightly tap all the way around the lid of the jar. Then I smack the bottom again just to be sure
