Hi!, that is a great morning routine. I am glad that you have found one that works for you. Here is what I do most mornings: I get up early I open the windows and let fresh air into the bedroom for at least 1 hour. I have heard that stretching in the morning is very good for health. I try to do 30 mins - 1 hour of stretching/yoga every morning. I have been doing it for about 3 months and it really helps me to feel happier every day. I drink a glass of water. I skip breakfast most days. I have always done this and I feel happier this way and am more able to exercise in the morning this way. I take half an hour to prepare my lunch plus a healthy snack in the morning. I make a fresh 4 veg salad, I boil a potato or cook some plain rice, and I add a protein portion (either boiled beans prepared the evening before, or a boiled egg in the morning or half a can of tuna). I also put 1 or 2 fresh fruits in my lunch bag. It helps me to eat plenty of veg and fruit every day. I make by bed. Most days I walk to work every day, a 45 min walk.

i have some several habits that were naturally established in my day-to-day life! 1. thanks to my beloved mother, i make my bed everyday! it makes room a lot more energising and “ready for the day”, and i am not willing to go straight to bed again haha! also i’ve started crocheting, and now am planning to make myself a cozy colourful blanket 2. i have a small morning ritual, make a coffee and slowly drink it. if i don’t prepare and drink it the way i’m used to, the day doesn’t really feel grounded and peaceful 3. i have my pet rats, so cleaning the area, feeding them, giving them fresh water and lightly scratch their backs with cute words of appreciation just fills me with gratitude and love🩵

As soon as I awake, I think of at least 3 things that I am grateful for that happened within the past 24 hours. Then I can continue on with gratitudes that are recurring or ongoing, like my family, good health, a safe and comfortable place to live, food, etc. But by starting with the things that happened within one day, I keep my focus on recent specifics rather than getting into a chant of the same general things over and over. It has made a big difference for me!

Do they have recycling bins in Japan? They have been putting recycling bins in London but many people are not using them and so things that could be recycled are sometimes going in the standard bins which is not good. Everybody should be putting recyclables in the recycling bins every day. It is important to recycle.

Your channel in general just makes me happy, but it is also thanks to you that I have been improving my mornings and even evenings to better my day and mood overall. My morning routine is generally the same daily. I've finally reached my goal of 05:30am where I journal in the morning, do some light exercise, and then take my dogs for a walk. I don't usually open windows in the morning, but I think I will try to do so at least a little. It's currently winter here and very cold, so can't keep them open for long, but I can imagine the chill is a good wake up too. Thank you so much for your insight and inspiration!

I try to write something I am grateful for 2 or 3 times a day. I write one down in the morning, one in the afternoon or early evening, and the last one before bed. The afternoon one can kind of get missed depending on how busy my day is, so I at least try to think a grateful thought. I am working on getting a morning yoga routine going every morning rather than just when I wake up with aching muscles to go with my pre-bed yoga routine to wind down. Just 10 minutes each changes my day so much.

I’ve been doing this for almost a month now, and it has made such a positive difference in each day! I write the steps (and have added some others) every morning first thing. Then in the evening I check to see that I’ve done the things on the list. It has helped to notice the things I may have missed that day or that I miss consistently. I also write down that day’s “miracle,” which I expected while drinking water. Thank you so much!! 💜

I think for myself I will phrase number 3 as: "I will discover the magic of this day and I will celebrate it", every day. E.g. Today I found the cutest little artist's shop in a back alley in my city. I have lived there for 18 years, and I didn't know it was there. I was amazed how old-fashioned and quaint it looked from the outside, and how unique inside. I felt like I had discovered a secret level in game.

I enjoyed your video very much! And it seems to be working because you seem very happy! I have a couple of questions: 1. When you write down your Matcha moment, is it something you’re intending to have happen that day or do you write it down at the end of the day as you look and see what you’re happy about that day. And you wrote about letting go of a habit every day. Does that mean in a year? You’ve let go of 365 different habits? Give me an example of a habit that you’ve let go of. 2. I’m curious about the water ritual and miracle. Where did this originate? 3. Do you write in your journal at night? Thank you so much and many blessings to you!

5 morning habits: 1. Open your windows first thing after you wake up and get some sunlight and fresh air. 2. Say atleast one thing that you are grateful for after you wake up. For eg: Thank you for the fresh running water or thank you for being alive today. 3. Have a magical glass of water where in you say something like “thank you for today’s miracle” and drink the glass of water and watch something miraculous/nice happen during the day! 4. Pick a piece or two of trash when you are on your morning walk. It makes you feel good and makes the world a little more cleaner! :) 5. Make a routine of preparing a good drink of your preference. Enjoy every single sip and cup peacefully. It will help your calm down at the start of your day! Love 💙
