Thank you Debo, great info as always for all of us peasant bank anglers!!!! I always prefer using the EWG weedless ned jig, I'm glad to hear that it is the one you use the most as a bank angler.

Hey Debo, the Ned is a great way to catch fish & as you showed there are a ton of options for this rig. Excellent breakdown. I’m really wanting to get more into throwing the shakey head. I have plenty of rigs for it, but would love to learn more on how to use it. Would appreciate your take on it👊

Love chucking the hula stickz on a zman finesse bulletz head. Definitely sneaks through cover better than the traditional ned head. Great channel. Greetings from South Africa

VMC makes a swinging ned head and started using them last year. For me it was a game changer and don't even look at the traditional ones anymore. The swing head help keep the baits afloat and presentation looks far better ten the other ned heads. Highly recommend it.

The new Rapala Crush City Ned’s are awesome!!! Been fishing Ned’s for over 15 years and highly recommend carrying some pocket knockers to help unsnag. It’s easy and cheap to make your own. Also using a 3000 size reel helps with casting those lighter weights.

Ned rigging and flipping caught 90% of my fish last year. It’s my 2 favorite techniques as of current. I used to be strictly a lipless and cranking guy but then with these I caught a lot more fish! The pattle tail is good on a bed rig, I throw a 2-3inch mister twister sassy shad and it’s one of my favorites to use.

Hated the Ned for a long time, easily the most consistently snagged bait I threw. So frustrating constantly breaking off and re-tying. The EWG option has been the complete redeemer of the ned for me, small change huge difference. And I’m honor of the Dizzle, don’t forget to give the googie rattlin ned a toss, love that little rattle in a do nothing slow drag retrieve.
@ecuingarilicea288211 ай бұрын
Great vid as always Debo! I like to use the zman finesse bulletz when the grass starts coming up, same hook as the nedlockz EWG, but a pointed head that comes thru grass like butter. They are getting harder to find tho 😢

Imo most medium power rods dont cast light neds well and larger reels also prohibit longer casts. I always suggest a medium light rod with a 1000 to a 2000 size reel. You can throw from super light to heavier neds on it and also fish a lot of other finesse techniques like a drop shot, spy baits, and so much more. A good ml has plenty backbone to fish in any conditions. Pros use them on the great lakes catching 8lb smallies in 50 foot of water during heavy winds lol.
