I'm from sri lanka.. I'm a 16 year old catholic girl who suffers from self hatred and other problems in my life.. I'm tired but I'll hold on tight.. I have to make my mom a queen.. 1) Morning Gratitude - be thankful for everything, every experience, every person in our life. We should be thankful for person who gave us bad experience too, because they made us grow and make life more interesting for us. 2) Morning Meditation - mind and surrounding are calm and peaceful. 3) Journaling - all the good deeds and thing I did, and all the things I am grateful for. 4) Mindful eating - reflect on the purpose of eating, for health. focus on the taste, the texture of the food. 5) Planning the Day - give priority to the important things and do the important thing first. after that you will have the mental freedom to do other things.

Perfect. For the last five days I have been meditating near the spot where Buddha's foster mother attained Parinirvana. What better place. Imagine it. All the greats sat around where I sat looking on and helping Prajapati Gautami attaining Parinirvana. The spot is lovely and serene on the banks of the Ganges. Wow. The Buddha watched on, Sariputra and Mogallana watched on, Kassapa, Bhaddaji and the other disciples watched on, Visakha and Amrapali watched on, Theri Uppalavana watched on and helped Prajapati Gautami to have her last bath. The five hundred nuns were sitting around meditating. It took time. I was on that spot imagining that scene through my monkey mind as I tried to meditate. Namo Buddhay. Namaste.

My mornings are not peaceful, as I've just awakened from another night of nightmares. No one knows why I have them, never had any trauma, but I could write scarier novels than Stephen King from the scenes my brain comes up with when I'm sleeping! I also never eat breakfast, or lunch..... but the journaling, I do. I am grateful throughout the day, not just at morning time. I'm retired, and blind, so there isn't much planning to do. But thank you again, for another inspiring pep-talk!

Do you eat a heavy meal late in day?. I find lots of protein or cheese in my final meal gives me nightmares 😮. All the best.

Its been more than a month I've been practicing gratitude..1st for Buddha and then the things I'm grateful for and also for the bad people and I've seen the results..i feel my life as more valuable and started forgiving the bad people and learn from those experiences. Namo Buddhay🙇‍♀️🙏
