Күн бұрын

In this fightTIPS video, Shane demonstrates 5 different spinning attacks for MMA, including: the backfist, elbow, back kick, heel kick, and the tornado kick. These moves pack a ton of power, and if landed flush: will likely result in a knockout. However there are obvious risks, like turning your back and taking your eyes off of your opponent.

Benjeeman yes this is best used at distance the greater the distance from the opponent the more successful the move. Also helps if u hv tacs in you pocket but be sure to drop them behind u not in front of u. Very effective.

Shane, all people are awarded a certain level of respect from me regardless of their lifestyle, but you are one of the few people that I can say have actually earned it. Very genuine intent, trustworthy energy about you, and you have a very direct yet explanatory style of teaching which makes for a super forgiving but effective means of improvement. Like a placebo self fulfulling prophecy or something haha. It's super rare to see someone as young as you with such a profound level of understanding, im 22 and you reassure me that great wisdom is possible before 30😂 but with that being said i have one minor request, read below:
@spartanbarton3665
@spartanbarton3665 4 жыл бұрын
Very grateful for your videos but watching them has put a lot of emphasis on footwork for me, amd my attention goes to the feet. Ive noticed that sometimes on the heavy bag drills you cant see your whole foot, especially when you are Tyson close to the bag, plus i use subtitles because i remember better visually which makes it real bad sometimes, so i was wondering if you would consider scooting the camera back a bit so we can see the area around your feet at all times, usually everything is on point but here and there one goes off screen. Youre vids are always improving anyway so im sure you woulda thought of this in a week or so haha. Thanks flr everything man i hope you and yours are surrounded by love and light, much respect.

There's a related sneaky back elbow that doesn't involve a spin, but a "roll." In Krav, we call it a "rolling elbow #3," or "rolling 3." It's a vertical back elbow that you can throw to the face if the enemy manages to collapse your posture toward him. It's not ideal as a go-to move, but it's a great way to recover from a bad position.

I've been into martial arts for 32 years and weaponry for 23 years. I've been focusing on concepts that are easy to learn and remember, for teaching beginners. I practiced karate and jeet kune do before I learned silat and escrima. I have been into tai chi and internal martial arts for 9 years. My parents who are very old now are both interested in my tai chi and my mom is even interested in fighting a bit. My father was young during WWII and doesn't want to learn fighting.

Tornado kick can also be done moving backwords. Works great when round kick misses and opponent charges in.

When you aim with the heel, the kick can come out more flawlessly because you're putting less emphasis on meeting the opponent with your eyes, and more on the technique. As you saw that kick can come out with a nasty amount of power and can be quite unpredictable.
