Hey there, I wanted to say I was so happy when you recommended Summer Of Night because I just bought it because of how much I loved The Terror. You have an excellent palate for great books. I really enjoy your content. Keep up the great work!

Currently reading "Curse of the Reaper" and really enjoying it. Its not scary or anything like that but the story itself is great, especially if you are into slashers 🔪

Hey Jimmy, "Summer of night" is one of my favorites, and I´m going to read it a second time in October. I finished "Holly" yesterday. The book seems to have a bit of harder time in Germany, but I really liked it. Thank you so much for your recommendations!🍂🍁

Nice reviews! The other day I picked up the new 20th anniversary edition of Come Closer by Sara Gran - a great Halloween read that, in my opinion, remains one of the scariest depictions of possession put to paper.

I loved Sliver as a movie, read the book afterwards. Was great too, but it felt more like a movie plot to me.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for your videos. I’ve enjoyed watching your book recommendations over the last few months. I was wondering, do you also enjoy listening to Stephen King books (as well as books by other authors) as audiobooks? I listened to Billy Summers and Fairy Tale as audiobooks and found them just as, if not more, engrossing than reading a physical book. I look forward to your review of Holly. Have a good day! 👍

Thank you! I actually don’t listen to audio books. I have a hard time following someone talking to me. I just feel I absorb more reading myself. Just a personal preference.

Sliver is an OK book. The movie was worse. The ending is really anticlimactic.
