@@geoandbert1454 yeah, generally all Malaysian can speak English. Less sugar = kurang gula. But when you have to say, saying it 'gula kurang' 😀. Malay language is very easy to learn and you can speak Malay in Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore & some part of (Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia).

Besides waiting at the traffic lights at zebra crossing, some areas you need to cross the road as there is no zebra crossing. In this situation, look left and right and if there is slow moving traffic, hold your palm out. They will stop or slow down. Yes vehicles here does not stop for pedestrian unlike Western countries.

@@geoandbert1454 night markets usually sell them. Apam balik. The old man did not put sweet corn. Usually it has sugar, peanuts and sweet corn. There are 2 versions, the thick and the thin ones. I prefer the thick soft ones over the thin crispy one.

Actually you can cross the road by giving the hand signal. That way, the cars would slow down and allow people to cross the road. We Malaysians would joke that as The Hand, the most powerful signal in Malaysia 😂😂

The dessert you had in the end has peanut as the filling. The one you had is the crispy one, there is a thicker and softer one that has peanut and corn as its filling. We used to be able to ask them to add an egg but nowadays, not sure whether they will do thatt.
