I searched in your style hack videos for the sleeve cuff tutorial because I was watching a classic movie with Katherine Hepburn and she had her sleeves so chicly styled (exactly the way you demonstrated.). I imagined her outfit with the sleeves left full length, it wouldn’t have looked nearly as put together. I love your videos, they’re fun and insightful! Thank you!!!!

I am a relatively new viewer and I really enjoy her videos. She has great talent and is really amazing. I found her from the suggestion row of videos. I am going to try the sleeve cuff. It looks so sharp. Growing up and into adulthood people would comment about my belts not being tied all the way. I am glad this video shows it in a different light. It's good to know that I'm not the only one tying a half bow which I adopted from my half Korean upbringing. The half bow has been used for thousands of years in their traditional garb and the first bow I have known ... and I even use it on grocery bags. I'm happy and thankful for this channel. I hope she makes more lovely ones. Have a nice day everybody

I paused in the parking lot after leaving a store the other day, gobsmacked. Wanna know why? I was wearing a "Busbee Style uniform" consisting of (the trinity) Erin's THREE LAYERS. First a grey t-shirt, half tucked, with a peek of a leopard print belt, and over that my army green field jacket. Effortless really, and a rare time I ventured out in a T shirt. The shocking part was what the clerk at the counter said... "You REALLY dress well" "I really like your style" when she handed me the receipt "would love you to style me!". What? It is just a T-SHIRT! with a jacket/rolled sleeves/and a belt. So there, in the parking lot, I loudly proclaimed, "THANK YOU ERIN!" Sorry it took me days to tell you! Muwah! XO ps. People, follow her tips, her principles ARE life changing. : )

All you’re advice has been so helpful for me dressing mannequins. I know when I’ve hit it right when we sell out on items I’ve put on the mannequins (especially if I see a customer walking around with more than one piece from the same mannequin. I have dressed several with combinations that you’ve worn (like: dark blue skinny jeans rolled, black booties, white tank, red jacket, black belt & black cross body bag) and they do look fabulous. I even dressed one with a similar Jennifer Aniston look you showed us. And understanding the body shapes from your videos has helped me better dress our larger female mannequins.

I actually found your channel when I was trying to figure out how to wear my booties with jeans, and came across your video on cuffing! Since then I have learned so much about why some women look so put together, yet so casual and what I was doing wrong with trying to have that same style. Now I have built up a great capsule type wardrobe for spring and I can't believe how many different looks I can get with my "uniform"! I found a great white blazer that I ordered a couple days ago and I can't wait to try it! Now with this video I can finally tie up my trench belt in a way that doesn't look messy! Thanks again for all of the work you do on these videos! It may seem like no-brainers for a lot of women, but I always struggled with trying to look put together and I have wasted a lot of money trying to figure it out. Now I feel super confident that I can put an outfit together very quickly and not have to try on a dozen things because nothing goes together. 😊

I’ve been implementing these hacks, and they truly do elevate the way an outfit looks. The one I use most often, is the half tuck. At 44 years old, it helps me feel “young and hip”, but not like I’m trying too hard. The next, that I use most often, is wearing a third layer. I have so many different faux leather jackets, blazers, etc. (perhaps too many) lol. Cuffing jeans? I’ve been doing that forever! Although, I’ve since learned new techniques for cuffing jeans. Game changer for sure!

Thank you for all the great tips you always provide. Some I may already use, and some are new. What I like about whatever you present is the relatability. Wether it's less expensive items, mid range or high end. You always style them all (alone or together) so effortlessly. To me that is exactly what fashion is about; seeing the possibilities in things you already have, or maybe just a non expensive update to be current. Love luxury items like the next person, but that doesn't nessesarily give you a great look. One needs to know how to put them all together to get a good personal style. The most interesting looks I find among bloggers or on Instagram are always a great mix of everything. Dry often the secret is in the very small details😊

Regarding the sleeve cuff: I remember cuffing our uniform sleeves like that when I was in the Army, back in the 80’s. I’d forgotten all about that. It really does make the shirt look more ‘finished’! Regarding the pant cuff: if there is more material at the bottom of the pant leg, making a sloppy looking cuff, fold a wedge of the pant leg to the side, making the leg narrower, and then cuff it that way. Another thing I learned in the military that always looks flattering with boots, is ‘blousing’ your pants. You can use a rubber band if you don’t have any boot blouses, but make sure it’s large enough that it’s not going to cut off your circulation. Slip it onto your leg, just above the top of the boot. Then tuck the pant leg up into the rubber band, or blouser, and spread it around evenly. This also works well to keep critters out of your pants!

I’m very casual by nature and my job requires a uniform, so my wardrobe is something I do not incorporate into my job. But occasionally I have events or meetings that I do need “regular” clothes.
