you're right when you say that social apps are overwhelming. I also deleted a few. I think that helped me not to feel so much pressure on my shoulders, regarding what is happening in my country and the world. I am Latino, and at the moment my country is not only facing a major economic crisis, but also strong social problems, illegal groups are killing many people. So we have to feel lucky to be well, and to be in the place you want, and with the people you love.

I totally agree about Twitter.. I did the same thing last year and it felt so good. It’s so easy to become full of bad feeling and hate with so many bad things happening to our country right now..best to distance yourself from the hate and concentrate on the things you can control. 🥰✊🌈

Great video! I recently quit my career as a Hairstylist to pursue a career in my first love, Illustration... A move inspired by quarantine. I’ve also deleted and abandoned several social media accounts/platforms and it truly is life changing! Many of those platforms have become so toxic (Facebook and Twitter especially) and removing that toxicity from my daily routine has lifted my spirits. Meditation and Yoga are my next moves. I used to practice both daily but lost track several years ago by way of that daily grind and frustrations with where I’d led my life. I think quarantine has actually been a positive shift for more people than we hear about. “Unplugging” has truly been amazing! 😊❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌈✨

You’re so right about deleting social apps. In my experience, they can really drag you down and become an unhealthy obsession. If you want to be present and live in the ‘now’, it’s best to stay away from them

Don't know how people manage to be on all the social platforms. I've limited myself to three and I still am on my phone too much (Also like Pinterest so that's some of my time though not daily.)
