Bonus tip - make the color of your text a color from your scene - love it! Been doing this for years. As simple as it seems, it is one of those polish points that makes people like it without knowing just why!

For some reason I couldn't just disable Face, I had to enable Face and bring down the opacity in order for the outline or glow to be the only operative effect on the text.
