@@keithkekenbosch9289 Great clarification question.. Alpha male: Take charge, Make decision I’m such an alpha female, and I don’t want to be. It is a lot of responsibility. I want a man to see I’m struggling, and he has a back. I want to be spoken with love, respect, and care. I want grace also. I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. I don’t want to be call names or belittled.

I agree 100% with all these points! In regards to leadership, a good Christian mentor told me: "communicate with your husband on important decisions such as buying a house, finances, etc. but trust God to lead your husband in making the right decisions for your family. And if your husband makes bad decisions then allow God to work in his heart. Don't belittle his decision making skills or take control!" I think that's good advice. :)

No offense intended, I'm just genuinely curious about your perspective and was wondering if you believe that a couple that are atheist or agnostic can have a healthy relationship? It feels as though you're saying that you need God to guide your husband/marriage and all decisions? Perhaps I misunderstood, but that's the way I interpreted what you stated. I understand that everyone has different beliefs. My boyfriend and I were raised agnostic and have studied many religious, and are always striving to understand others points of view even if we don't agree personally. We have a healthy and loving relationship based on equality, honesty, and communication. When we make decisions it's as a couple/equal partners. Again, I was just curious about your perspective and relationship practices as it seems vastly different from ours. 😊

@@vanbriannemodel oh my goodness you're too sweet! Of course I'm not offended. I think it's cool you asked! 🙂🙂 You asked a loaded questions which can honestly be answered yes and no. I've seen healthy and unhealthy relationships from people who worship God and people who don't. But who can know with certainty if the relationship is a good except the couple. Right? So it runs the gamut ya know. In terms of relationships and marriage, it's like a pyramid with God at top, husband on the left, and the woman on the right. (Bc women are always right! 😉😆lol) No but seriously men and women in relationships should treat one another equally. However, in the Christian community the teaching is that the man is the one who is held responsible and therefore accountable to God on whole different level than women. Idk it's a thing in the Bible which is difficult to explain in writing but hopefully this helps. If you have any more questions feel free to write to me on my page. PS- If you and your bf are honest, love each other unconditionally, and communicate then that's awesome. All those qualities should be present in any relationship no matter if you're a Christian, atheist, agnostic, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, Wiccan.....well you get the point. 😉

As a woman, I want a man of integrity. If the man has integrity, everything else flows almost effortlessly (trust, safety, comfort, listening, etc). To make my point: Would you trust and feel safe with a man whose character you cannot trust? What about listening to a man whose judgment you do not respect? Character comes out on top on the list of needs for me and I suspect, for a lot of other women as well. 😉 Thank you for this video! Golden content to reflect on 💕

I AGREE!!! ...and I’m probably one of the most honest men out here (not the only but maybe too honest), and that has gotten me nothing but assumptions and the person believing I’m lying 🤣 Not saying don’t be honest but some women will reject a god man thinking he’s lying because his truth sounds like some of the guys who ran game on her...Sounds too good to be true. Then if men continue getting blamed they don’t know what to do which causes them to say what they think she wants to hear...Now that’s lying 😂 I’m always trying to be a better me. Women most realize that men need practice. It’s difficult to practice if I have no hands on. Reading the manual is one thing, actually working on the car is another; Sounds so easy by the book. Another thing that when fail to realize is EVERY WOMAN IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. So while man expect us to already know this and that, If one woman is picky on holding hands, while another is like why are you up on me, it’s hot...I still love you though 😊 They expect us to take what we learned in one relationship to another and that doesn’t work. One woman is like take your shoes off, the other is like WHY ARE YOU TAKING YOUR SHOES OFF!!!? 🤣

In my own healing and growth, before entertaining any man him mentally and emotionally being in a good place is important I feel with that its a great way to have healthy communication It allows both of us to become and feel vulnerable in the relationship because your partner makes you feel safe in doing so I love a man with a strong backbone, a man who shows leadership and leads with it It makes a woman feel that security blanket all around her because she know her man got her and is handling his business Attention and a man paying attention to me Him knowing what I need before me even saying it shows he watches me at my inner core

I Agree, As a Woman of God: I definitely want a man That is “Equally Yoked” meaning we are aligned with one another by providing and ensuring security, communication for one another. Communication is the key foundation of the relationship. It’s the building block to ensuring that there’s an Open Forum to speak freely open and honestly with any reservations about being critiqued or judged. Understanding we all have our way to communicate however it maybe there should be compassion . Leadership is needed of the man to be front runner for the relationship in a way of being confident and loving her in all ways and she feels like your her comforter and protector. Attention to her in every way will bring her more in tune to you on every level and she never feel like she would need to look anywhere else. Basically never allowing her mind to have any doubt in you whatsoever. Whenever you give her any reason to doubt you in anyway then that automatically breaks down trust and the domino effects happens and the whole relationship fails before it even gets a chance to blossom.are truly for her snd the relationship

That's one thing for sure with my ex, I never really felt that he was really committed to me which made me feel not secure in the relationship. I would ask him questions about it and he would dance around the issue. I just got tired of the rollercoaster mentality. I went through it in college with him, during and after his first marriage, and during his 2nd marriage. He would make promises and never completely follow through, last January it finally ran it's course with him. After reading 2 of your books and watching your videos helped snap me out of that rollercoaster narcissistic mentality with him. You are definitely right. He would take me to dinner when he would come back home, and it was only for his needs. I let him know what I like and want, and he would make promises and never fell through. Promised he would make up for all the years he should have been with me in the beginning. I heard it all before. I told him our time hAd passed years ago. If he really wanted to be with me, he would have. Him playing professional sports would not have stopped that. But you are right. And I know not to bring any previous issues into any new relationship that I will have this year.

All 5 of these are beyond on point, but that patience is the big one for me! When a man is willfully patient it communicates him as being insightful and understanding, grounded, open, caring, and invested. That degree of selflessness also speaks volumes of their maturity and attentiveness to the relationship. How can you not feel safe in that? How do you not flourish in an environment of patience created by your guy? It’s the perfect set up for me to joyful have all his babies. 😍😁🥰🥰🥰

Stephan got put this video in front of my face as soon as I turned on KZbin today.. The reason for this is I have been dating a man for 6 months and have been recently asking him where our relationship was headed ..Instead of feeling like a nag.. I started pulling away and not making the efforts of helping with his kids and his house... not going to see him and looking to see what he would do..the only time he really responded was for physical needs which I have since also stopped..and now I am the problem :( This video made me realize that I was only asking for the basic needs of a woman from her man as I was doing everything to be sure he was taken care of..I have no desire to be crazy making although the yesterday I started feeling crazy and that he was gaslighting..I actually feel physically ill today. I thank God for you and your video ..and although I am sad for the demise of this relationship..whatever it was ..I now realize it was for the best... God bless and thank you for your videos and texts!

You took the core needs of a woman and brought them down to EARTH! Every point you made was on point. Most men make women sound so "complicated"...and we are! But i appreciate the fact that through life experience and just listening to and studying women overall, you were able to make loving a good woman sound so simple and at the same time a smart decision for any good man thats truly ready to give their heart to a woman.

“ I AGREE “ to the umth degree. Soo many variables used to create a harmonious space energetically. I’m big on the energetic magnetism. Gotta be on the same page. Also what’s important to me is that a man know that just because I want to spend a lot of time with him doesn’t mean I wanna be all up under him 24/7. I don’t want either of us to lose ourselves trying to be something we’re not let alone doing something neither of us want to do. Respect and genuine communication.

I would definitely agree with all 5 of these tips and the bonus one 🙂. I would add for myself personally, someone who lives for God, shares a spiritual connection, someone who’s happy and who’s whole before the relationship. What I mean by that is someone who has taken the time and healed from past hurts and not searching for someone else to make them happy. That type of energy drains the other person in the relationship mentally and emotionally, like an energy leach. A lot of people say “ I’m searching for my better half” but I want a whole person to begin with. Your partner should be an extension of your already happiness from within. Love your content Stephan.

I absolutely agree with your presented principles that women need. As a Pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that work with individuals and couples this information is very valid. I would also state that women also have to allow these things to be put in place. The needs of a woman are mostly always mentioned, but we fail to learn about us and revive ourselves from past hurtful relationships that pushes us to forget the needs of the man. This is more for women who struggle with self and fear to get healing so that our men can feel like they can be open to communicate, lead, be patient, and etc. I truly enjoy you and things you provide! I hopefully can have you as a guest for my upcoming Podcast "Love Therapy". Both men and women have to value and get to know self before trying to restore things for others!!! Let's work because LOVE really does Work!!!!!!! Thank you soooooo much Stephen.

Agree. My favorites are security and communication. I found writing letters to be helpful before verbal conversation because you can get everything out. If one is emotional at that moment, writing helps to calm the person before confronting if there are issues. How we speak to people can lead to positive or negative outcomes. Healthy communication is the foundation for one to open up and be fully vulnerable. Once this is achieved, you can work through almost anything in a relationship. Great advice ❤😍
