Wow, first off, thank you so much Daniel! Been watching the Dungeon Dive for awhile now and have learned a lot about other games and it's so great that you do this. But also thank you to everyone watching and felt moved enough to buy the game. You have completely wiped out my physical supply of MIRU. (There is 1 copy left as of the writing of this comment). The only way to get a physical copy now is from the good folks over at Peregrine Coast Press & The Lost Bay Studios. They have a lot of cool games you all would probably enjoy as well! They deliver all over the world. Thank you so much everyone, and I hope your adventures go well. Please show me your map! I love seeing the maps that come out! (and small note for those who did order, I was not expecting this many purchases minutes after opening the shop back up for the year and have run out of envelopes. More are on the way and shipping will resume sometime this weekend. )

I absolutely love MIRU and I'm so glad you covered it! I think it's one of the best introductions to Solo RPGing since it gives a lot of structure. I beat it after several tries - just barely! Tons of fun. The creator, Hinokodo, is really cool too!

I really enjoy book binding and I am exciting you are going to be talking about it on your channel. There are so many advantages of binding your own books and it is a lot of fun. If you need any help please feel free to ask I have made many mistakes along my journey binding books.

There's some physical copies (minus the extras) with slight printing errors on the cover available still. Apparently it's just some yellow specks on the cover from a printing error, the contents are unaffected. Came up to $10 after shipping for me and includes the digital copy. Perfect for me as my printer is currently out of commission and if I'm playing a TTRPG, it's gotta be on paper and not my tablet.

Looks like a neat little hex crawl. Watching this, I realised it would be practical to take a few zine-sized games on a long journey. Nice :)

You will love printing your own booklets and zines. You’ll want get to yourself a guillotine paper cutter to trim excess paper sticking out the right side of the booklet (called fold creep) as well as the top and bottom margins on some booklets that may not match your paper size.
@TheDungeonDive
@TheDungeonDive 2 жыл бұрын
I actually don’t mind fold creep. I’ve got books with uneven signatures. But yeah, I’ve already made some nice stuff. It’s been fun! It’s been fun learning. I don’t have any space for a new hobby, so all of my book binding stuff needs to fit in a single small box. :)

Happy New Year everyone. This was one of the only one- player zines I didn’t buy at Dragonmeet but I saw it in one of my photos of the event when I looked back. Wish I’d bought it now 😂

Looking forward to getting a proper PoD copy (the one I had printed and coil bound is just OK, but I bound the Smuggler expansion in with it too). Glide is one of my favorite solo RPGs, and Cezar Capacle's Scraps is the other!

This was a perfect start to new year. Thank you. Please make some gameplays of these adventures too. I would love to see more of them. Thnx. Quick question: is there a discord or slack channel where people meet and discuss these games?

How did you staple 80 pages? Make rounded corners?
@TheDungeonDive
@TheDungeonDive 2 жыл бұрын
I'm going to be getting more into this kind of information in another video. But you can get saddle stitch staplers and corner punchers on Amazon.
@TheDungeonDive
@TheDungeonDive 2 жыл бұрын
BTW, that's an 80 page PDF, in booklet form means 4 pages per double sided page, so you're only looking at 20 sheets.

Happy new year. This was pretty shoddy* "printing tutorial" :D What paper thickness do you use? How do you staple this many pages? Is ink printer better than laser? I remember ink made my paper soaking wet and it never dried out. Literally one drop of water months after printing would create smudges. * but it was a great Miru review.

Silly question.. but in fight. Foes roll a d6 that determine the attack value in that hit.. That is ok. But is the player also roll a d and add it to the attack (base attack and buffs)? :) for example if i have a knife my attack is 1(base)+4(knife) and +1d6?

What is the play time on this game? Also, would it be possible to play it entirely on a tablet (i have a Galaxy S Tab)
