5 Things I don't like about my 2021 Supra

I wish Toyota would fit these issues before putting them on the market.

The wheels - The black/chrome design choice on the wheels was deliberate by Toyota Chief Designer Nobua Nakamura. It was inspired by the mk2 A60 Celica Supra wheels from 1981. If you look at the 2.0L GR Supra chrome wheels next to the mk2 A60 Celica Supra chrome wheels you’ll notice the design is very very similar, the new 2.0L GR Supra’s are just a modern interpretation. The chrome finish is then carried over to the 3.0L Supra so the model range is coherent. There are many design references of previous Supra's all over the GR Supra. Another for example, is the three rectangular lenses in the headlight stacked left-to-right, which draws direct inspiration form the original 1978 A40 Celica Supra front headlight treatment. Customizing the Supra with Bimmercode will make ownership much better. Remove ASD Disable auto start off Enable sport+ Enable comfort+ Brighter screen

I got the 2022 model, the wind buffeting is fixed and so is the boot latch after the door is closed - but there are simple fixes for each posted on KZbin. Search Supra OBD on youtube (watch the thic whips one) and you'll see how to program out the auto stop at lights. You can also program it to start in sport mode without having to hit the Sport button each time.

Auto start/stop is for efficiency for city driving, red lights/stop signs etc. I absolutely hate it as well for cars but I can understand why it is there.

Right. The issue isn't that it's there, but rather that you can't disable it permanently. I absolutely hate it, as well. Plus, unless you spend a considerable amount of time in stopped traffic, it's not worth it.

I'm in complete agreement. Other than some custom cosmetics, my first mod was wheels/tires. Lowering the car and new wheels looks SOOO much better. I also have a cf duckbill spoiler, which adds a lot to the look, as well. The two tone stockers are fugly. Not sure wth they were thinking. Cool design, though. A lot of people get the stock ones painted and they look good. I got a set of Wider wheels with sticky tires in preparation for more power.

Yeah I don't like the same things of the supra I already fix the auto stop of the engine with Bimmercode, the wind buffeting I got the AWE foilers, for the wheels you can get the black wheel decals 😁 the other one that I don't like too is the locked ECU of the 2021+ Nice supra, cool video 👍

Reason auto start on off for engine is because it is a BMW engine / parts and they don’t normally make sports cars so petrol mangement is normal for their cars. Thanks for the Phone charger tip sounds horrible.
