On the trunk issue.. there are two bump stops that you need to turn counterclockwise a few times or until it can pop the hatch lid without the pressure differential causing it to “relatch” ever so lightly. You’re welcome, brother!

The trunk is just super sensitive. So any movement will re-latch.
