I remember you talking about how quirky that ride by wire throttle is. Unfortunately more and more this will be the new normal. I don’t like this either. The loss of feel is my biggest reason. There is no feeling like feeling that cable tension feel when rolling on the throttle.

Bro, if u have any problems regarding fuel mileage just go one up on the front sprocket to 17teeth...and since u have flashed the ecu and put on a full system torque will be plenty and it negates the need for shorter gearing which the bike comes stock with..u wud gain some top speed as well..ride safe 👍👍👍

I'd suggest the KTM 890 Duke R if you want to stay with a naked bike, or if you want to switch it up and try a premium sport tourer, go for the new Ducati Multistrada V4s

The headlight are really weak, can't see well at night. Can't turn off rear abs. Throttle in STD & A mode too sensitive. Other than that I luv my MT09.

Kind of unfair when you compare the MT-09 to much more expensive bikes such as the Aprila and the X-Diavel....Most people that complain about the suspension don't even adjust it to their weight before replacing it, maybe if they tried that it would be different, Yes the fuel tank sucks and it also sucks on the MT-10.

We’ve had the MT-09SP here in Australia for a few years now and it’s a big improvement on the standard 09. The 2021 model appears on paper to be a step up in many areas. However, it looks like garbage imo, so if you can get past the looks I’d say go for it. It won’t disappoint.

Personally the kTM is a great choice, but I like the Aprilia. The sex appeal of the tuono is off the charts. BUT you already had that bike so I think you definitely need the KTM

The only way for you to stop "crying" about torque is by getting the Super Duke :) I had one (the 2015 version) for about 5000 miles and I personally didn't like it. I like the S1000R way more. However you'll love the Duke like most people do. All the best.

The mt-09 has great torque that I love, I just want to try something new. I made a pact a few years ago to buy a new motorcycle every year. Have you tried the new and improved 2020+ SDR? From the reviews I've seen they say it's much better than the previous generations SDR. The S1000r is nice but not feeling the look of the new 2021 S1000r, however, I need to test ride one.

@@CycleCruza I have not tried the newer Duke models as of now. I agree. You should go for the 2019 and newer Super Duke. It's a different bike, feels premium and has plenty of torque even for you, you torque addict lol. It will make you smile guaranteed, but so will the S1000R :) But if I was you I would definitely test ride the 2019 or 2020 S1000R before making your final decision. I put over 12000 miles on my BMW and not a single issue. Their customer service is next level. Test riding both you have nothing to lose. On the S1000R the suspension, quick shifter and crisp throttle response is the best out of all the bikes (12) I had. Ride safe brother.

ECU flash, it changes the fuel-air mixture for the engine. You do this when you change the exhaust system so the bike runs right and or better

I am on my second Super Duke as I love the engine. Best street naked. Most engine can not give you both torque and horsepower all below 9500, not 14,000 rpm. All new bikes are dependable. I own a Super Duke and a MV Agusta dragster 800rr Pirelli edition. I live on Maui with no dealerships, no problems. I owned Ducati’s before these, with no dealerships. Just change the oil every year or 7,000 miles. I own a Tesla with 40,000 miles never been to a dealership. Vehicles are so dependable nowadays.
