Good tips and takeaways! I've neglected my RB account recently. Plan to get back to uploading the first of the year. I think I'll try to upload to TeePublic as well. What I learned in 2022 is that "they" really ain't kidding when they say Q4 is the Big Kahuna. I did what I feel is very well for this being my first year in POD. I'm super encouraged!

I am not on amazon or teepublic yet. I am not giving up despite not getting many sales on redbubble so far. I only joined RB July of this year so... One thing I am enjoying with all this (out of many) is watching things improve the more designs I do as well as getting more and more ideas the more I work at this regularly. It will help me when I do eventually apply for amazon merch. I will be sure to showcase what I feel are my best designs when I apply. I have been in print on demand since the early 2000's but have not been super active. In fact took a super long hiatus from it and just earned a little here and there from the one site I was on. Pretty much enough to pay my car insurance every month minimum with sometimes a bit extra. It feels good to be back in it but I need to get back to my sculptures etc. :p I need to work out a balance between making my physical art and making digital art. That is one thing I learned in 2022. Also how much I enjoy making new designs and the endless stream of ideas that are flowing from my brain now. Thanks for another great video! - Heidi

If you are new to POD, Teepublic is not the route to go. They quickly ban new users on their site. Even if you follow their guidelines, they will still take your site. I am still new but learning quickly. Another thing I experienced is not all design sites fit everyone. Kitti is too complex for me so I decided to cancel my sub. I feel that Canva and Placeit work best for me. When I feel I am ready for Kitti, I will try them again. Congrats on your success in 2022 and thanks for sharing. By the way, I am using Redbubble and Teespring. I'm still loading my designs so it's a process. I will try to join Merch for Amazon in early 2023. I have rejected the first try.

Yes, Teepublic got me too. I uploaded about 50 designs in a 48 hour period. I even divided them all into categories, etc. Was so excited since I'm new to all of this. The next morning I woke up to an email saying my account had been deleted due to violation of terms and conditions. They never gave me an actual answer as to what was actually violated. Needless to say, I'm not a big fan of Teepublic.

Hi ! I'm in POD since august 2022 with spreadshirt & redbubble / 200 designs. (got banned from teepublic on 2 accounts... but I started trying again 2 days ago) And most of my sales came from Spreadshirt EU ($60) / Redbubble ($12) So I think Spreadshirt is a great platform too, and easy to use !

Great question.... I don't promote too much on social media but I do have an Instagram account, Twitter and use Pinterest... I honestly don't count on that traffic but I'm sure I get some.... I only do Amazon Ads as far as paid ads go.... It works pretty well but you got to watch it everyday.... if it works do more... if it doesn't adjust or turn off.

Yes I have... all the time.... they don't all do the same on each but it's totally legal to put the same design on multiple POD sites

Well.... it depends on the POD site and what kind of rate of designs per sale you have.... but if it is exactly like mine and you are on Amazon... probably about 10,000 designs like me.

I used to use Corel Graphics when I was printing with heat transfer and it worked well for me. Hey man, just heard about Print on Demand. I came to know that you can generate profit on sales by uploading lot of designs on Teespring, RedBubble etc & they're gonna do all the work. It just sounds too good to be true or is there a catch?

The catch is you need to create designs that people actually want to buy.... you can't just upload 100 random designs and expect results.... you will need to do the research and figure out what sells well on different POD sites.... if you can do that and upload thousands of designs year after year... you will be super successful... and yeah, they do all the printing and shipping and customer service.... Super cool business.

On redbubble I had some sales in the past 2 months, but indeed, the profit margin is really low. On Tee Public I recently started uploading so I hope the sales will start coming even if Q4 is over.

Ahhh.... well that's a good question... If your goal is to.make money then you should increase prices... if your goal is to get as many sales as you can to tier up you should make the price something that will get you the most sales.

Well.... just a guess.... maybe your artwork is cool but doesn't fit what people are looking to buy.... I think you are probably creating artwork and then hoping that there is an audience out there that will like your work..... what can help is to flip it..... find the audience first then design for the audience.... hope that helps.

Thanks for the video, Juna. I am getting good results on Redbubble but having difficulty starting on TeePublic. I have created an account and uploaded 20+ designs but they are not showing on the marketplace through the search option. I contacted their customer support and they said your designs will not show up on the marketplace and you have to do marketing of your storefront by yourself. :(
