Look into the oem jdm carbon fiber mirror caps.It would compliment the other carbon fiber parts and it goes with the rest of the air dynamic. Part# ST91054VV010-ST91054VV020

Thanks for this. Personally I don't like having too many carbon fiber parts, if I was to replace the mirror cap it would most definitely be cherry blossom pink lol

I prefer the Type RA rear spoiler, the one on the S209 looks backwards too me (end or side parts) but I suppose it's more functional, and also for the front /rear wheel fenders would have been nice if they were more integrated, it almost looks stuck on in a hurry, but overall it's still a great looking car.

Personally I think the fender flares flow really well with the rest of the vehicle. And it's pretty awesome that these were all precision hand cut by a Subaru engineer from Japan, you can tell by eye and by feel the precision needed to make these parts flow with the rest of the vehicle. I agree with you on the type ra wing, I do like that more, it's the same one that comes on the S207, except it has an s207 badge on it. Thanks for watching!

Hi. What is the diameter of the air intake? Do you know if this will fit a JDM EJ207 VAB?

Idk the exact diameter but I believe it is 30% more airflow compared to the stock ones. It should fit ej207 vab, but you cannot get one unless you have an s209 vin and prove ownership

Was Subaru able to address the cylinder 4 issue?

There was never an issue with cylinder 4, especially at stock power levels. The cylinder 4 cooling mod is not something I would even recommend, there's not enough evidence that its beneficial for the ej25 engine

There was definitely an issue with cylinder 4 come on man, there is thousands of examples over the last 10+years. The cylinder 4 cooling mod is cheap and takes 30 min to install, it literally hurts nothing to install. Mix it with a better radiator like koyorad and you will notice a big difference.

@@lucian7182 most failures that come from cylinder 4 are on tuned engines- engines that are making higher hp than stock levels where heat then becomes a major issue. That's not what I'm talking about here, Subarus from factory are designed to not have cyl 4 failure as long as you keep it stock and do your maintenance at regular intervals.

​@@lucian7182 also I would do some reading up on cyl 4 cooling mod and debate on whether it actually has benefits. This mod was invented by a guy named dom which is how the getadom tune cyl 4 cooling mod came to be. Now idk if you know Dom but personally I think his way of researching and building new products for our cars is not the most scientific way, and I would much rather trust the Subaru engineers who have done multiple testing to ensure that our car won't blow up from factory due to cyl 4.

If you're concerned about cylinder 4 heat you would be much better served moving to an ELH then depending on Dom's makeshift mod.

I cannot wait to see all of the new vb wrx on track this season! Would love to see how they perform. I don't quite agree, you will need a big brake kit, a stronger STI transmission, a dccd, aero, better wheels and tires, tuned suspension including track spec coilovers, larger rear sway bar, endlinks, chassis bracing, and a safe conservative tune with at most an intake and turboback exhaust

@@TheLastS209 won’t need 70% of that to walk one on the street though. I agree on the brakes, and Sti trans bolts right up from what I’ve seen, but VB chassis is superior in every way. Better fluid and ebs pads go a long way on the track though. I’m a big fan of the s209 don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful car, was lucky enough to see one in person at my local dealership the other day.

@@LAdumpsterbaby that's fair. My s209 is a track car, that is where real performance of the car is put to the test. Most ppl who mod the car as a street car don't really care about these things, just want to make power and drive fast in a straight line. I think the fa24dit can be good at that but be sure to swap to an STI transmission as the vb wrx transmission is known to fail at much higher hp levels

@@TheLastS209 Big difference from stock recaro seats as far as height goes? I want those seats but im 5’4/5’5 on a good day a lil worried if gonna be too sunk in like a lil kid lol

@@gflip456 it boosters the sides real tight, I think you'd like it. Stock Recaro seats are so wide. The highest seat position should work really well for you with this seat
