As a trucker I made a delivery to skinny pop warehouse Found out the packages had been there 2 years I assume all snack food is in the same boat . I only snack on potato chips very occasionally I won't touch chip snacks ever again

Bone broth is no more beneficial than ordinary broth. Collagen is broken down and absorbed like all other sources of amino acids.

7 hours eh? My mum was a nurse on maternity ward when I had my first. Active full on ‘this kinda hurts’ labour to delivery was 50 mins. Even back then (1993) she said don’t be talking about the length of your delivery in the baby area, you’ll get beaten up! 😂hahaha In those days all the Mums took their babies to a large communal area. Bathed them, change their cot linen, chatted, got to see who else was there, make new friends. It was awesome. Number two was posterior. 6.5 hours of feeling like I was going to fall in 1/2. Number 3. Nearly didn’t make it! Born 10 mins after I got there. 😳 But I win. Hahaha no morning sickness, nothing. 3 drug free births. I reckon if I was having babies 150 years ago I’d have like 15 kids 😂 at least!

You sure do practice what you preach! I remember having a colicky baby who would not be put down. I was a single mom and ate whatever I could get together and shove in my sleep deprived face! You are doing wonderfully and your little Sage is just so precious! You are glowing, I believe I looked much like a zombie with crazy blond curls! You are a super mama!!!!!

Just fyi about The dates in pregnancy, I had a completely natural non-medicated birth. It was also my first and I never ate one date because of how much sugar they contain. I believe keeping active my whole pregnancy, was what gave me such an amazing birth and I see how active you were in your pregnancy, so I really believe that’s what had to do with it. so if your next pregnancy you don’t want to add in the dates, I don’t believe it would change your outcome. But if you like dates then go for it!I just don’t think they make a difference in birth Ty for the videos love learning from you!

Agreed, you don't need the dates! But I HAVE heard that sugar increases pain sensitivity. So they might actually work against you in that regard.

I consumed prunes the past month, but I decided to quit it and substitute it to fresh fruit. I heard that dried fruit also assisted in raising hemoglobin, alongside other food as well, therefore I decided to add it to my nutrition. I am expecting results on Friday. Moreover, I've always preferred fresh fruit over dried; in fact, the only dried fruit I ever liked was prunes.

Learning that pregnancy nausea is because we are suffering from magnesium deficiency. Remember that if you decide to have another baby. Lots of Epsom salt baths and magnesium supplements. ❤

I've heard that. I've heard B6 deficiency. I've heard low blood pressure. I've heard electrolyte imbalance. I've heard lack of protein. I've had 3 kids and the nausea only got worse with each babe. I threw up for 7 months with the most recent one. Basically just gotta get through it. Ironically, although the nausea got worse, each baby was subsequently easier as a newborn. 🤔

Daily fasting raised my awareness of how various foods make me feel. I was in the mood for popcorn as an evening treat at home. My gut revolted the next day. That was the second try, so now it has lost its appeal. Yesterday I was craving beef, so I just cooked 1/2 lb of ground beef for lunch. I ate it with some homemade sauerkraut. I felt full, satisfied, and body was happy. Had pasta with homemade pepper sauce for dinner, but it sat like a stone in my belly. Everything sounds good, but I'm learning to pay attention to the impact things have on me. I still eat ice cream now and then and just pay the price. 😊

Thank you for this. I am close to ending a 3 week detox and have been looking for forward to popcorn. I will avoid this now until I get to my goal weight and know how to work it into my diet appropriately.

@1977NOBODY, The way your body responds to those Snickers bars changes dramatically as you get older. It’s a recipe for not only weight gain, but inflammation and metabolic disease. At 73, very healthy and at a good weight, I shudder to think about the chocolate milkshakes I ate for lunch…often…while never exceeding 100 pounds. When I started having children, I started understanding the importance of eating clean unprocessed foods…not just for myself, but for them too.

I make my and it depends on what bones and flavoring you use. It’s great for your hair and nails. If you ever make your own it will be like gel if it cools and become liquid when you heat it. Think of chicken noodle soup if you use chicken bones etc

I used to believe sugar hindered my weight lost until I did a 30 day test after watching another KZbinr eat sugar and still managed to lose weight…..I literally ate 2 kingsize snickers a day for 30 days that’s not all I ate😂I did eat enough normal healthy food added with the snickers to about 1800 calories…..And I still lost 2-3 pounds a week👉🏻Because I kept myself in 700 calorie deficit daily. I was always scared to put any kind of sugar in me during dieting and this was to prove to myself sugar does not make you gain weight if you stay in that calorie deficit👍🏻This is not something I’m going to do……This was just to let myself know sugar was not the enemy and having it occasionally won’t kill you.

Having added sugar occasionally won't kill you, that's definitely true. But when considering sugar's impact on the body, and even the mind, there is a LOT more to it than weight-loss. And most people it seems consume it much more than occasionally. I'd wager there are many who every day of their lives, consume the equivalent or more of those two king size chocolate bars.

@@suzannecarrier287 It's definitely addictive, and more so when it's not just plain sugar. Things like candy bars are literally designed to addict you. It really is just about staying away, and this from a life-long sugar addict myself. :)

When I found myself thinking about food during the day, like bagels, english muffins, and goodies , I realized I was a carb addict. Some people can moderate but abstinence is another option.

Thank you so much for the info about dates. I have been eating dates and I have not lost any weight. I have been eating frozen bananas in smoothies with oat milk. What do you think of oat milk? It doesn't contain extra sugar but not sure that it is good. I'm thinking of cutting out bananas. I have also been eating oat bran. Thank you also for the info on pop corn. I had been eating pop corn and rice cakes with sugar and other extra flavours added. I think a lot of what I have been eating to try to lose weight has been totally wrong. Your videos are so good and educational.

It’s not the popcorn. Snacking causes a break in the fasting. If you want to achieve your weight loss goal, eat 3 balanced meals - fat, protein and fiber. No snacks in between meals and walking 12K steps or more. That simple!

It would probably depend on the recipe. Is it there for the texture, the taste, the decadence, or the healthy fat? Once you figure that out, it's easier to make a swap. :)

Sourdough in general is more healthy/easier to digest because it's fermented (assuming it's real sourdough), but what kind of sourdough bread it is, as well as what else is in it, makes a big difference. For instance, you can make cinnamon buns from white sourdough, and that will have a much different impact on your body, than whole grain sourdough with lots of seeds and whole ingredients. :)

Depending on your carb sensitivity, real sourdough is a better option than most other breads

Make sure it's really sourdough. Many sourdough sold in stores and bakeries have conventional yeast in them. That yeast breaks down the gluten to sugar. REAL fermented sourdough breaks the gluten down into more of a protein. Consider making your own. I do and LOVE IT. Only bread my family will eat and I make so many things with my sourdough starter. ❤
